Really? And they still went to DC? Why not? 😉 I'll have to see if I can nail it down. I don't remember him confessing he had no cure in the comic.
 
FWIW comixology is having a sale on all Image comics through 1/1/15 using promo code IMAGE.

This makes all back issues of the Walking Dead comic 50% off ($1/issue) for all issues up to #133.

DRM free PDF and CBZ backups are now available via comixology on the Web.

So I feel a lot better about buying issues that way now...

I suspect it has more to do with their specific deal with Image, since only the Image comics I have in my library can be downloaded in this way. Other books like Marvel or DC books can't.

Amazon's muscle and money behind them doesn't hurt either.

OMG! Issue #144 was just SO good. Fitting that it was 1 gross (12x12).

There is no way they get to this in the TV show. Shame.

I am at 142 right now... just picked up my pulls and 143 and 144 are in it! Can't wait to read them based on your comments above!!!!!
 
I'm on 130. I went over to Image Comics to scoop up 10 more episodes and and they were having some technical issues. I'll try again tomorrow.

Holy crap... I just finished 144!!!! I saw something along those lines, just not those folks! Oh man.... Brutal. I actually think this might make it. Given how graphic they have been over the past few episodes and the beginning of last season.....

Those last pages of 144 are really good. I like they way they laid it out and panel arraignment.
 
Imagecomic's web site pops up an error when I try to do any search in the digital comic area. It's screwed up. 🙁

I loved the nuances and levels in the character and how they were presented throughout the book. The different faces that are presented to different people throughout the issue. A much different character than Negan, although even he seems to be developing layers. It'll be interesting to see if Rick will use Negan as a weapon in some way or if Negan will align himself with "the other side."

Loved it.

That would be a twist if Negan aligns himself with Rick! Oh my!

The Alpha character, while not as flamboyant as Negan, to me was more callus, ruthless, and heartless. Her actions and words are of someone who has absolutely no regard for human life, not even those that are family. That is scary.

I agree, loved it also!

Or will Negan say screw this and just take off

I think if Rick ever gets the chance, the young man needs to be dealt with and dealt with a bullet.

The burned face guy on the TV show is Dwight. He is in the book and is a Savior. I don't know what book you are on but
he does work with Ricks group later on.

I still don't know how they will have Negan speak without every other word starting with F.

TWD team said the blu-ray version will have a little more of his "colorful" language, but yeah I am wondering about that also. Maybe they will have him say **** or something of the like.

Besides one prominent show who said FRACK!, at least one other show, was it The Macgicians (?) have the characters say it, but then bleep it out. 🙂

That would be funny though. All we would hear:

Negan: You mother bleep, bleep, bleep, and then you son of a bleep, bleep
Rick: Come on now...
Negan: Bleep, bleep. Oh how I love to bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep.

There is no bleep per see, it's just half way muted, so you hear "fu" of "fif", just enough that you know it's the F Word. 🙂
 
OK I just caught up to #156. Didn't see that coming at all either. Negan's just full of surprises.

The Negan backstory is going on in print too. "Coach Negan" priceless.
