And yet everyone seems to love the movie.Man they keep just getting bigger and bigger. And Disney owning star wars, you just know its going to affect every movie. That Porg thing? Merchandise. Pure stuffy toys and lunchbox fodder.
So with this, is there any Marvel character Disney doesn’t outright own?
Welcome to business.I guess I am a bit bothered by all this consolidation.
You must be forgetting like 80% of the other companies that exist. There are few companies I hate more than Disney. Actually I can't even think of one right now.
Feels weird that I get to post this on MR but... YEAAAAAAAAAAH. Now, Let's get Doctor Doom in the MCU. And then lets do a Galactus storyline after that arc wraps up. Don't merge the MCU and X-verse though.
As long as I can continue to get Fox News and Sports I don't care.
You must be forgetting like 80% of the other companies that exist.
Seriously, it’s borderline insane to say Disney is a most “hated” company. Solid management and family entertainment are not the worst things in the world. Yes, ESPN is annoying and completely politicized, but there are a lot of companies with more sinister underlying principles than Disney.
You must not know about a lot of companies. Ever heard of Valeant?
Kind of a pricey acquisition just to add the Fox fanfare back to the Star Wars movies.
To be fair at the time of release Disney only had 1 or 2 4K titles available, and I think they are only at 3 or 4 now. Disney probably just didn't see the point of making any agreements with so little content. Also Disney seems to always be about a year or two behind when it comes to format changes.I agree it's horrible. Look at how they did not play ball with Apple on 4K HDR!!! I hate how these greed money corporations are buying as much as they can to please their shareholders. But hey, vote with your wallet!
Not good but hey look who owned it before - Murdoch - not sure which is more evil.
Interesting times but hey, we all have lives outside of silly things like TV etc so I guess that we should all move on. I guess these companies are all as truly as bad as each other. At the end of the day, they all want your money. It's how you play it!
That's your take on this tectonic change in media assets and control?
