I walked in on "The Blair Witch Project". It was the worst thing I walked in on, because I thought I was going to be walking in on a GOOD movie.
I actually PAID to see that crap of a movie. For a movie of 80 minute running length, I felt the 'filmmakers' could have trimmed out 30 minutes or so. And I had to turn my head away from the theater screen for most of the movie of fear I might puke on the head of the person in front of me. I loved the premise... hated the movie.

Of course, the worst movie I walked into was The Avengers.

The Blair Witch Project was a feat of marketing, not film-making. The people who put together the advertising, the commericals and trailers for it made all the money for the filmmakers...I mean, after seeing and hearing all the buzz about it, who could resist going to see it?

It was filmed in Germantown MD.
I grew up running around in those woods. I have no idea of how they managed to mask the road noise.

Child warning: Don't read if you're a kid!

Two years ago I stumbled down an alley where a girl was being raped. I'd had a couple of drinks so I went straight up to the guy and hit him in the face. He ran off straight away, although probably not because of my fierce fighting skills, but rather the fact there was now a third-party witness. The girl was pretty shaken, but okay on the whole. Her clothes were in tatters though. Thankfully the guy got caught by the police about fifteen minutes later. He was pretty distinctive.

I wasn't scared on the night, probably because of the adrenaline, but I was horrified when I had to testify. Thankfully I didn't have to see the guy eye-to-eye. All up, that's probably the worst thing I've seen and I know it's a cliché understatement but I wouldn't wish it on anyone (the rape part).

Wow that must have very disturbing to see. But good thing you were there to put an end to it :)

Very disturbing. Of course, I can't take any credit. The guy was scared off simply because someone was there. He probably could have taken me down if he'd wanted to but obviously thought better of it. I suppose it's a case of the right time, right place in a funny sort of way.

I'm glad that you weren't hurt and that the girl was lucky enough to have you as a passerby. You can take credit. There are hundreds if not thousands of people who stay in silence when their voices could aid others.

Thanks for that devilot76. I can't imagine a person could be in my shoes and not testify though. Mind you, I couldn't imagine a person could rape a defenceless girl before I saw this either.

Hopefully it'll be the last time I have to hit a person.

Yeah, scary, isn't it.

I like to think I would have done the same if I was sober. In fact, I hadn't drunk that much at all so I was pretty sober come to think of it.

Just to lighten the mood a bit :)

My friends mom being penetrated on one side, and a toy on the other. And she wasn't good looking.

What is it with single moms in the medical field being whores?!

WTF? Seriously why call someone a whore, well except if they have sex for money? You've already said she is in the medical field so that makes her a nurse or a doctor, definitely not a whore! And the single moms part, um yeah I'll just give that a WTF and move on. And what is with the "she wasn't good looking" part? People you don't find attractive shouldn't have sex?

I walked in on my mom trimming a certain part of her body... ***shudder***

Having just begun to read some of the replies, I can see this activity as having staying power in one's mind.

Kudos to you for doing the right thing! The world needs more people like you.

The worst thing I ever walked in on is probably not right for this thread...so I'll give you the 2nd worst. And I wont go into detail, just draw your own conclusions. It involves my ex-best friend, peanut butter, and my dearly departed german shepard. She ceased to be my buddy that day. Ok, where's my glass of wine?!?

When I got there, they took me out for ice cream, didn't say a word about it, and after me driving 1 hour to see her a couple times a week for the last year, they decided that day to start giving me gas money whenever I came over.

Beat's the heck out of me...lol

They give you gas money so that you can drive an hour by yourself to see her and sleep with her because she's so ugly the dog wouldn't even play with her.

Kudos mad jew. I think that you should be very proud of your self. You were a hero. Adrenaline is a good thing, allows us to do unusual things when needed. Like you it's afterwards that reality set in on you.

Hey Abstract - do you actually know the people who you commented on in your earlier two posts?

Your remarks were in poor taste, old boy/girl/whatever.

Slightly offensive, I fear. If you know them, however, then I'm sorry for being way off the mark.
