Slightly offensive, I fear. If you know them, however, then I'm sorry for being way off the mark.

Well, I've got a good vantage point from my high horse, but it was just some comments that were probably intended to be irono-sarcastic but I thought may been construed as offensive....

Admittedly, the thread has gotten a little unpleasant in places anyway - nicely pointed out jsw - but I just reacted to it when I read it....
