They were too busy hunting predators…Did Apple not double-check possible bugs that could be related to their most-hyped up feature for the iPhone 13 Pro...?

How does gimping a third-party Reddit app push that narrative?Because apple wants to promote the narrative that you should buy apps and hardware from one manufacterer. Because of optimizations.
Didn't Apple make a demo at launch about ProMotion and in games? So does this mean it's not working even for games or just normal apps? (other than Apple stuff)
How is apple going to fail due to a 24 hour delay in new apps supporting the feature being in the App Store? So you’re saying it’s perfectly fine for Apple to have such poor progress for a software of their primary revenue maker, that they couldn’t even have documentation ready at launch. Sounds like you want Apple to fail then.
Time will tell. I actually like a certain part of Apple, and I want them to continue to succeed, and criticism is part of that. I thought Apple had learned about software quality and proper documentations, but I guess they’re still learning.
It works for lots of apps already. There have already been a number of apps released that support it.Didn't Apple make a demo at launch about ProMotion and in games? So does this mean it's not working even for games or just normal apps? (other than Apple stuff)
Thanks for telling me about what I’m saying, bravo! I simply don’t agree with your assessments on Apple’s progress during COVID. I also don’t agree that updating your iPhone on delivery is a failure, I believe it’s a sign of constant improvement on the software side. As for 3rd party vendors having to add a Plist file to fully take advantage of 120Hz two days after release of the iPhone is fine, there’s no re-coding required to implement it. You see failure, I see constant improvement. So you’re saying it’s perfectly fine for Apple to have such poor progress for a software of their primary revenue maker, that they couldn’t even have documentation ready at launch. lol. As are the incorrect and dumb comments. Well doneAs expected from Apple.
24 hours? I thought it took days for Apple to approve apps (including updates) before they were posted in the App Store? And now we have to wonder which apps are fixed and which apps aren't?How is apple going to fail due to a 24 hour delay in new apps supporting the feature being in the App Store?

Going from an Atari STe to an Amiga was amazeballs, back in the day....This must be that one of those "Amiga can display 4,096 colors on-screen at once", but its limited to paint packages not games, things
Yeah, I really don’t understand why there isn’t an update to the post from MacRumors. It’s ridiculous that this is hanging around as if it’s true. This article is officially wrong, and should have an update tag. ProMotion is fully supported, and just needs a plist tag so the phone doesnt waste resources on apps that don’t say they need it. Another example of thoughtful engineering by Apple. And I’m chuckling at the hatebois who went off half-cocked (with a few choice comments quoted).
Honestly, if I’m reading an ebook 10Hz is way more than enough.
Sounds like you should read the very next article on MacRumors, in which you’d learn that this article is actually wrong.Apple prioritising their own apps and limiting third party functionality? Sounds like something they would do and be proud of doing.
I think you’re replying to the wrong thread.Honestly who cares. If you are willing to pay $1,000 or more for a phone and you break the screen then you pay Apple to replace it with genuine parts, or use AppleCare to reduce the cost. Stop whinging that backyard bob does not allow screen replacements at lower cost. In addition this voids the warranty as well if not done by Apple, so there is no real benefit, financially or otherwise to bypass Apple.
Yes Apple charge more however their work is guaranteed and covered, unlike backyard bobs repairs. Why the hell would you want to go "el cheapo" to replace a screen externally to the manufacturer plus parts shipping plus your own time to repair it (further financial loss). Lay off the red cordial. I've never had to replace a screen on my iPhone ever in my life, that's what cases and glass screen protectors are for.
Thanks for letting me know, at the time I posted the new article and updates were not known.Sounds like you should read the very next article on MacRumors, in which you’d learn that this article is actually wrong.
Well, you posted yesterday and the followup article went up 3 days ago, but whatevs. I requested that the first article be updated and that’s now done, so hopefully folks stop jumping on Apple over this. Thanks for letting me know, at the time I posted the new article and updates were not known.
Not implementing 120 hz a while ago in order to ''make it run better than android'' IS STILL just an excuse for Apple delaying another easy feature for iphones...And now Apple said its a bug and fix is coming shortly.
And this is what android fanboys always end up standing on: a pathetic lie.

I don’t really understand it. Maybe a bug I’ve transferred through a backup? 🤷🏽♂️ I’ve just been managing them through the tab in the Phone app. The phone just keeps offloading the app for some reason.I never even knew you could delete it. How do you add contacts if you don't have a contacts app?
I can think of $ome reason$ they don’t retract it.Yeah, I really don’t understand why there isn’t an update to the post from MacRumors. It’s ridiculous that this is hanging around as if it’s true.
