I know, I know... it's just a phone blah blah blah. With this new extended wait time each day my excitement for the new phone is driving me nuts. I'm so ready to end my android life and re-start my apple life, but for an impatient person like myself, 2 weeks is an eternity.

How are you all passing the time during this waiting period?

Yeah, the Apple Watch prepared me for these long launch day waits. Just 10 more days at this point anyway. My biggest source of anticipation is the uncertainty of the "in store" Upgrade Program experience. I've always had launch products delivered so I'm hoping they make the process painless.

I agree the wait is killing me as well. Had to result back to my Nexus 6 until my 6S Plus comes in. Its so close yet so far away!

The apple watch felt like such a long wait, but this isn't bad. I guess that is b.c I have a 6 now, and I am nowhere near a power user.

Are you actually for real? And if so, do your parents know you post here?

Perhaps look at it this way. A month or two after you get your iPhone, the novelty will wear off and it will become another mundane part of your life.

That is very true but one cannot ruin the hype of at least unboxing it lol. I agree, once I slap a case on it and get it all loaded up im going to feel I paid $1000 for the 6 Plus all over again.

What will you do once the phone is here? Try doing that just without the phone for now. Use your android in its place. Lol I know you're saying you can't wait to play with it but you won't be doing that all day.

I'm actually enjoying these 2 weeks chatting with others who are also excited for this. Time's flying for me.

OMG, same. I switched to Windows Phone for 2 years but it's basically died. I'm going on a day hike this weekend and there are so many apps and things I wish I could do but can't with my Windows Phone. On top of that, I just bought an Apple Watch but can't use it until I get the iPhone. ARGGGHHH! I had a iPhone for 6 years(gen1 up to the 5). I should have never left.

So true. We upgrade year over year for really no reason at all. There is nothing I will do on the 6s that I cannot do on the 6 (and do it fast!).

By living my normal life and getting my work done and spending time with my family. It's just a phone.

The wait and hype is all part of it. No matter how excited you are, 2-3 weeks after living with it, it'll feel, well, normal!!

It's even better in my opinion the day before if you've reserved. Queuing up is great fun. (That's the only time it's fun, when it's for an iPhone!)

If you're getting it delivered, you're sitting in all day, I don't like that.

I bet! On pre order night I was so focused on just securing one I didn't get to choose in store pick up. Oh well, I'll bring confetti and balloons to the ups store and have my own launch day there. lol

But, it's a two week wait with a definite reward at the end...unlike another type of 2 week wait I know of ;):)

As Tom said, the waiting is the hardest part. But I'm hoping the release of iOS9 and watchOS 2 tomorrow will help take my mind off some of that wait. ;)
