Yes..... yes I did. I couldn't resist.

Ultimately I can sell my 4 to pay for the 4S and that was the final justification that I needed.

Im one of the ones who didn't want a bigger screen, so that was never it (I don't want the battery life to go to crap with a bigger screen. Im fine with what its got).

I'm passing on the 4S. I'm still waiting to see what the Nexus Prime has in store and if that phone doesn't deliver, I'm perfectly happy with my iPhone 4.

Yes. First I was all whiny about it, but by preordering time, I was all

Same here...I was begging the site to come up so I could pay for the freaking pre-order.

I did not set my alarm, but when I awakened in Boston @ 3:10 am, I took it as a sign from the Apple G-Ds to order up a new white 16GB 4S. Unfortunately, Apple wasn't quite ready on time, but the fact that my 32Gb 4 will fetch more than the price of admission for the new one, made my decision to jump in now pretty simple, albeit a pretty groggy one.

I did.

During the keynote, I was a little unimpressed. But, after reading about all of the features and thinking it over, I realized it was a pretty nice upgrade. So I ordered a White 64GB this morning. I'll probably give Apple my old 3GS for $100 gift card, and maybe even sell my iPhone 4 if I don't want to keep a backup.

Really excited!

Yes. I chose to be a hypocrite because:

I've been wanting 64GB since the 3GS
I could probably break even or even make a profit by selling my 4
I doubt I'll be switching providers next year (and even if I wanted to, the ETF isn't *that* bad)

Yes, after AT&T adjusted my account to full subsidized price. $199.

Yes...I preordered. But it's pending the announcement of the Nexus Prime. I really want 4G!! But I do prefer iOS over Android...

No, but I was in Target earlier and an employee let me know that they were taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4S. I was so close, but I politely declined and got the heck out before I changed my mind.

Nope I'm keeping my ip4 and waiting for a different model, I ain't paying £699 just for 32gb more space and Siri.

I bought one for my girlfriend but I am gonna see if it is that much of a change with hers. If I like it then I will get a 64Gb...:apple:

Wow, same here. And worst is she got mad that I stayed up late. lol... Maybe I should keep it for myself instead.

Nein. I think the iPhone 5 exists and is being held back by Uncle Tim until a few vendor issues are smoothed out. Think we'll see it early 2012, with a possibility of pre-order just before Christmas. (Wow, I had no idea I could be so detailed with my guesses!)

Ha I answered yes, but it still makes me laugh how many others did too! :D

Cuz, the only thing that is actually going to make a difference to most people is Siri. The speed, at least according to most videos I've seen of the iPads, is going to be only seconds difference for things, so that's not a big deal. The picture quality is going to be very similar. The video quality might be a bit more detailed, but not a big deal to most people, either.

All in all, it's pretty much the same phone with Siri on it.

I only got it because I was bored with black and I want to use Siri and I had the money, so might as well.

Why couldn't you do it?

Fanboyism.

I haven't ordered anything yet. I'm going to wait on the Prime and probably give it a try. I can always return it if it's crap and go back to what I know. I'm either going to be happy with all the new features or I'll be happy with having the old iOS. I win either way.

Yes. I said I wasn't going to buy it unless it had a bigger screen... but then I was trying out some Android phones, and realized I wouldn't feel comfortable being stuck in a 2-year contract with an Android phone. On top of that, it turned out that AT&T doesn't even offer the Galaxy S II in store, it's only available online.

No.

Nothing changed from the announcement till today. It still doesn't have a bigger screen or redesign. It still isn't going to be a significant upgrade in speed when compared to my i4. And until other people become the guinea pigs for Siri and come back with raving reviews across the board, I'm not buying the hype.

Just not worth my $200-$400.

I said I would not get one, and I would've stayed true to that word had it not been for the 64GB option. Siri doesn't blow me away. I mean it seems pretty neat, but I can only see myself using that in limited circumstances, such as driving. No, 64GB was what I really wanted the 4S for, so now I don't have to be selective about music, photos, videos on my iPhone. I usually watch a few episodes of TV shows from iTunes at the gym, and only having ~1.1GB of space with only 2 episodes at a time on my iPhone and more than half my music library missing as well, was getting annoying.

I have a 4 and wasn't going to upgrade to the 4s for the incremental speed and a little better voice control that I was still skeptical would work as well as advertised.

But then I started watching the Siri demo videos and reading the hands-on impressions of the tech blogs who tried it. After realizing that this voice control experience would be far closer to Star Trek than I would have believed, I just had to get one.

And the better camera will certainly be a plus. I have a 3 year old and this will allow us to catch the moments quicker and better.

Of course I did :p, even after I posted "Android here I come"....

I guess I just realized, an Android is an android just like a nice HP pavilion is just another nice looking pc. But an iphone ladies and gentlemen, is a F-R-E-A-K-I-N-G IPHONE damn it!

I was just angry at the moment and kidding myself lol
