I seem to always say that I am not going to get an Apple product and I almost always did

I was NOT going to get the iPhone 3g and did on release day
I was NOT going to get an iPad 1 & iPad 2 but got both
I was NOT going to get the iPhone 4s and did pre-order it

It's an emotional issue, like hoarding.

Not yet but I'm really considering it.

On the other hand, I said I wouldn't be buying the 4S cause my contract won't be up until the 5. Except then I found out that my upgrade will be in February and especially if it is now on an October release, it may be worth it. I'll have to see if I'm still tempted by the S by then (knowing me I will. I'm a total gadget hound and tend to want to upgrade my phone soon as I have an upgrade).

The much faster processor and honestly, Siri (even though the two things I wanted better out of the 4 was the processor and more storage) are what are tempting me (I think the storage not so much cause it pushes the price to the point that I feel I can't justify it on my budget though I probably will anyways).

i bought one

i wanted go go android but the build quality of most of the phones was poor when compared to the iphone

I'm sticking to my guns and not getting one.

Every time I discuss the Nexus Prime in my office, one of the secretarys says, "Ohhhhh come on you know you'll wind up getting it anyway." and I respond, "No, seriously. I don't want the damn thing... It's boring."

I'll love Apple until I die, and I totally appreciate it being the last phone Steve had hands-on creative time with, but it's just not the best of the best anymore.

I went back and forth for a while, but ultimately decided to keep my 4. I don't want to be locked in a 2-year contract when the 5 (or whatever it is called) comes out, especially since I am betting on it having a new design and LTE.

I always planned to purchase the next phone. Well, 75% sure I was. So I guess I don't vote? (There should be an option for those that were going to buy it anyway so we don't feel left out :() J/K

I was on the fence about the 4S. My wife kinda pushed me off the fence onto the side of buying it. Of course she's getting one too & we both currently have an iPhone 4. :apple:

This would be funny if those speed tests hadn't come out the last few days. The 4S blows every other phone out of the water in those benchmark tests. Not as simple as just adding an S anymore.

Yeah man I know. It's just a joke I found. I have an S coming Friday. ;)

I have considered it. The only real reason I would get the 4S would be for the 64GB model. But I also can't justify spending $850 sans contract on the phone, even though I would sell my 4 to help fund the purchase. So for now, I'll just keep my 32GB iPhone 4.

After seeing the benchmarks of the iP4S crushing the Galaxy S II, I'm glad I got the iPhone. On top of that, the Nexus Prime is slated to be at least 4.5", which I think is too big of a phone for me.
