App icons, on top of other app icons...this obviously means new multitasking API's that will allow you to run apps side by side on iPad. Kind of like in windows 8.

Or maybe the translucency means that apps will have an easier time interacting with one another, other than just using URL schemes like they do now.

That is what the image tells me :D

iOS has gone a long way, but is still a bit too limited to my taste. I'm really really curious to know what Apple will add to iOS 6.

Wouldn't necessarily say limited, but it hasn't progressed quite as much as I'd like it to. Curious to see what is in the works as well though.

Can we get better notifications please?

I feel sorry for people who don't use a jailbroken phone with apps like intelliscreenx or bitesms

Maybe widgets like the weather icon I've used since the original iPhone?!

Maybe enable FaceTime over LTE?

Seriously not hard apple.

Maybe I'll stop jail breaking then

Don't feel sorry for me. Haven't JB my phone since VZ became available as a carrier, and I couldn't be happier. And I don't think anyone (i.e., Apple, the carriers, or me) really cares whether or when you stop jailbreaking your phone. Knock your socks off.

But a little bit of advice. Perhaps you should focus on what your what your iPhone is, rather than what it isn't. Beyond that, go buy something that is what you want.

I really wanted to go this year, but this couldn't have come at a worst time for us :(.. Oh well. I guess the stuff they release online will have to do..

Hopefully iOS adds some Wndows 8 metro style multi tasking, where you can have a second app running in a limited mode in a portion of the screen...LOVED how Microsoft did that.

There will be lots of tickets this year, as they're non-transferable and non-refundable. So scalping will be mostly eliminated.

Interesting. I wonder what they'll announce at this years WWDC, I just hope that we won't have to wait for the MB-refresh until june...

But the more I think about it, it all makes sense.
Weren't some Ivy Bridge processors delayed until approximately that time?

I wonder how fast they will sell out, last year it was mear hours. Today would not be the day for a developer to take a vacation day and miss the announcement.

I think it will take longer as Apple has changed the rules. In a good way.

Scalpers can no longer buy tickets. You must already be a member of their developer program, and only buy 1 ticket for yourself (or 5 for a group of developers), and you cannot transfer the tickets to anyone else.

Thank you, Apple, for making sure that the tickets go to the right people.
