TikTok to Sue Trump Administration Over US Ban as Soon As Tuesday

TikTok is small potatoes compared to the likes of Facebook. Look at it objectively, even if it is spying, what can Beijing do to you? What is scary is arbitrary uses of executive power. That is how democracy gets eroded (history has plenty of examples).
Well the question should also be what can Beijing do with the data from TikTok that it hasn’t already been sold by Facebook directly or indirectly.
So, why do you need a government to tell you what to do? isn’t it un-American to have a government interfere with your mobile phone? why not ban FB, or is it ok if American companies spy on you?
I'm not sure what purchasing an Android phone is going to do for them. It is the apps that are being banned on all platforms, not just iOS.

Trumps regime is also going after WeChat as well, which would cut off millions of people from talking to family back in China and damage business relations. It isn't about one app anymore, this would be dictatorship is out to damage the USA for decades to come.

Let's be honest, the whole lawsuit will be futile since the obesity president will be instructing the judge to favor its own nation.
lol this is something a chinese propaganda account would post in order to try and discredit the ban. the company got caught with its pants down, and now has to pay the price.

It's also banned in India, which is something I never knew until I read about it over the weekend.
To name just a few:
- Colluding with a foreign government and putting their interest before own country (you don't need to tell me that because the DOJ and senate did not find him guilty, it means he's not guilty. He appointed the DOJ, and the GOP is corrupt beyond saving)
- Voter suppression (you can just Google "Trump Voter Suppression" for a library of articles)
- Putting the economy before the welfare of citizen health (a focus on economy while COVID spiraled out of control resulting in tens of thousands of excess American deaths)
- Suppressing rights of marginalized groups of Americans (e.g. allowed a rule that discriminated against LGBTQ rights)
- Using position of power as presidency for financial self gain (see Goya beans, SS overpaying nightly rates for Trump properties, etc.)
Oh don't forget Kodak(That long dead camera company) suddenly getting a lot of money from the US government to manufacture the stupid drug they think beats COVID. And right in time for some investors to make bank on a dead company.
Fascinating that blind hatred for Trump will actually make people side with China who are carting people to concentration camps, stifling personal liberties and freedom, human rights violations and atrocities daily, a major player in helping to fuel current discourse in western way of life, in particularly the States.
I'm no Trump fan, but let's forget about him in this equation and the move to ban Tik Tok, given what we know is absolutely the correct decision. People whine and moan on these boards about tech companies infringing on their privacy, but all of a sudden it's OK that Tik Tok does it because Trump opposes it. And believe me, unless his advisor and various agencies didn't bring this up to him, he probably wouldn't know what Tik Tok is.
