Without wechat they will lose 99% of all Chinese customers. A cellphone without wechat is pretty much useless in China. And China is good for about 20-30% of Apples sales.

Western Europe is crumbling and has numerous issues with decades of “socialist” policies. Your so called “strong social nets” are only temporary, in the end every socialist state fails and Europe is on that exactly stage right now. European here that was lucky enough to migrate to the superior USA and had the chance to compare both places and definitely the US (south and Midwest) is the best place to be right now.

Don’t think I read any takers for Spyware. Even potential Spyware which we are currently discussing seems rather unpopular. Trump is unpopular for a variety of reasons which I’m sure will come to mind when you think about the recent years.
European here that shakes his head. Crumbling is the nicest word that comes to mind when I think about the US. And I lived outside of Europe long enough myself to see the differences.

Exactly. In that context one has to understand that Trump is not the reason for US becoming a failed state. He is a symptom.

Shake your head all you want. Fact is I have lived in both places and I can judge better than a European who hasn't lived in the US at all. Europe provides a false sense of security and "social net". If you have never lived in the US how can you form an objective opinion?
I take it that you are from Belarus, Bulgaria or some other less developed part of Europe? Typically, people in Norway or Germany do not see any benefits in a country defined by gun violence, rampant crime, massive prison industries, the death penalty, the use of torture… that is the flawed democracy and the failed state called the USA where you have to register to take part in the most basic form of democracy, namely voting, and where the state actively tries to stop you from using your vote, and where the president tells you to inhale bleach to treat corona…

The US has since long lost its attractiveness, although the philosophical idea of America is still vivid.
China is by far more attractive, and this is despite having less political feedoms and virtually no social net, especially not for foreigners. China is going forward rather than backward, and it is a lot safer. The people are generally much more friendly.

I am from Mediterranean actually. But I know Europe very well and the politics behind it. The USA is only failing because of the socialist infiltration for decades now and thanks to people like you that are voting for progressives and globalists they are responsible for the decline of this once great nation. If this type of infiltration had never happened, this country would be the best place on earth as it was before. And just FYI, I will trade all the comforts and the "social nets" that Europe is providing for the right of self protection by owning and carrying firearm lawfully. For that right and only, the USA holds the title of the best country in the world.

Chinese Propaganda at it's best. There are literally hundreds of social media videos out there from people who are both living in China and have recently lived in China for many years making videos on what China is actually like from those who are and have experienced it for real and it is nowhere close to what you say. China is not an atractive place to live and neither is it safe.
If the Tik Tok ban is only regional then watch an increase in people using stolen user data to make accounts that allow them to bypass a regional ban.
