You'd think the CEO of Apple would probably NOT want Fallon to treat the Apple Vision Pro like it's a blindfold - do either of them know it has pass-thru video?
Blame the writers who came up with the skit. They either don't know or don't care and thought it would be funny.

Is anyone else getting tired of the blind cult-like attitude that has been developing for some time now around this company? And this is coming from an Apple fan.
Whut?! This has always existed with Apple. Coming from someone that's been an admirer for more than three decades. Like someone else mentioned, it's just social media that's amplified the fanatic noise.

The fake “reviews”, the very scripted “interviews” from 17 year old “influencers”, the constant gloating over most minuscule details, the vomit inducing virtue signalling, etc.

It all feels like a colossal cesspool of nonsense to me. Maybe I’m just getting old.
It's always been like that. Influencers are just amping it up.

Nice playing around and promoting the company and products. I wish he would really focus on quality control and his software team. Pushing them too hard too fast and these latest releases has been a mess.

You need to check out iJustine. She is unbiased and straightforward and pulls no punches when it comes to calling out Apple on their shortcomings.

Do ppl still camp out over night for these anymore?

Why would they? People don't shop the way they used to. Just look at the decline of shopping malls.

While the smartphone market has matured, Apple sold over twice as many iPhones per year on average in the last seven years than they did in the first ten when "camping out overnight" may have been a thing. The shopping world is simply different today.

Did everyone spot Tim Cook's security detail trailing them in the video?

People are so bored with iPhone 16 that YouTube commenters are ripping MKBHD over his wallpaper subscription app more than the phone itself.

Boring people are bored. Who cares what YouTube commenters are doing?

No matter how busy and successful you are, I believe the awkward moment where Tim flinches as Jimmy raises his hand for a high five is going to haunt Tim for ages.

Yeah exactly! Copy your last, Like wow The 17Yr olds with unlimited budgets but somehow need more than one of everything (Looking at you iJustine who somehow got not one but two 32" Displays....) Ugh....

Remember when Steve would do a Keynote? there would a general update, some announcements minor products and then BOOM One more Thing Steve would unveil some Magic 🎉 fully formed Designed ready to Power on and Ship! Coming to a Store near you! None of the well here it is but half The Features are missing but we will update soon if we dont brick it first! And yeah like you slurped all the Kool Aid Decades ago...As me types on me trusty 🗑 Can.

And after seeing Jobs die in the role, would he want to stick around so long and find himself in the same position? What's the point of making all that money if you can't just quit your work and enjoy it. Tim's stake in Apple is minuscule compared to what Jobs' was.
Steve was never in it for the money that’s why he stuck with it so long. He barely had furniture in his house. Tim will for sure step down and enjoy his bags of cash
