"Different Android" is exactly what Tim Cook was talking about...
So, it is bad to have choices?
"Different Android" is exactly what Tim Cook was talking about...
Then Belgium must be Touchwiz. So much bloatware and unnecessary gimmicks, it becomes barely workable.
I can see his analogy.
You really think the average European gives a toss what the CEO of Apple says in an interview? Shoot, they probably don't even know who Tim Cook is.
Many Different Things Under One Name
Than you know about Hitler. How is that for being so far right? Those Republicans are extreme, but they are not very diverse in their extremism. Have you spoken to one of them, you don't need to talk to the others. They are all so equally insane.Have you lived in the US? I have, for over a decade, and each state is totally different. Republicans are so far right, they are beyond anything present in Germany. I'm from Austria by the way.
We share nothing, our government isn't even representing large parts of the population. We need so many political parties, because we have so diverse opinions, even on the same side of the political spectrum. And inside of all of our parties, we have multiple political wings with vastly opposing world views. That we speak the same language doesn't help us, because our values are so diverse that words have different meanings. There are no common political and social values within Germany, so we have nothing to share with other countries. By the way, who is so stupid to believe in democracy, let alone social? In terms of ideology, Germany and other social democracies share some common political and social values (for the most part).
Which is a shared opinion by people all over the country. Extreme individualism differs Americans from Europeans, but not from other Americans. In the US, you have a sizable junk of the population who wants to essentially to keep government only for defense.
No. But every US state they speak English. They all use the US dollar. They all are subject to US Federal Law, And they all have the same stores, restaurants, and TV stations.
Can you say the same thing about Germany and Britain? Finland and Spain? Ireland and Norway? Switzerland and Turkey?
I think he is talking about the EU (European Union) and not Europe. Because the US isn't alone on their continent either

and Tim Cook is RodmanAt least Europe lets you go from one country to the other easily. If Android is Europe then Apple is North Korea.
Tim Cook should not talk to reporters while drunk.
I don't think he was saying Android/Europe is crappy, so much as it's not truly one cohesive platform. Rather a bunch of autonomous platforms that are loosely tied together under one umbrella of services.
Or in Europe's case, a bunch of self autonomous countries that are tied together under a common set of laws and trade agreements.
Though the quote itself isn't exactly the swooftest thing I've ever heard ole Cook say.
So, it is bad to have choices?
He is much too polite: 'Android is Like America', Totally ****ed Up
'Android is Like Europe'
Maybe he ment to say:
Europe likes Android
Look at the EU5 v US smartphone sales number.
In most of Europe the iPhones is a distant second to Android, being chalenged for second place by WindowsPhone.

Meaningless...
In my country, the iPhone costs more than the minimum wage.
People who buy androids, just can't afford the iPhone.
Those androids are cheap 100-200 handsets, not those who probably think of (galaxy s4 and the likes)
Are you telling me Canada isn't a state?
As a proud European and avid Apple user this is one of the most idiotic things I've heard this year.
Here you see, the ECB illegally extending its mandate and directly buying Portuguese bonds to lower the interest rates of over 7%, which otherwise would have led to a state bankruptcy. Unfortunately it was a success and Portugal hasn't become a second a Greece. Instead it is destroying the value of the Euro for the rest of us.I'm Portuguese, and I don't feel any attachment from France, or Germany, or Sweden. In fact, my country, and many others were suffering economic difficulties and nobody in the EU lend us a hand by any means.
Americans call each other lazy all the time, depending on whether their state is unionized or has so-called right-to-work laws. You would be amazed about the hate between Americans working in the same industry under different labour laws. Nationalism is nothing against Regionalism. They even have laughed at us behind our backs, and called us LAZY!
