Three ‘influencers’ that don’t need any more screen time and spotlight. Same ol’ rehashed material from the three of them and nothing ever of substance. Should give some new, up and comers a chance instead of a few has-beens. Harsh, but truth.

Yes pick the ultra fan girl who has never uttered a single negative comment about the company that made her! I can’t stand the woman or her schtick!
Why do you care? You can simply not watch her. It's not like anyone forces you to. So watch who you like and let those who like to watch her enjoy her for what she brings to them. The idea that there's some universal form that a YouTuber should be is silly, but so many of you take your own opinions way too seriously.

Did He almost Screw up will the next Iphone have a M chip in it
No. Just looking at the size of the chip will tell you that’s not happening, never mind the power consumption.

The only way iPhones get M-series chips in the near future is if Apple changes to name of the A-series chips.

I think the idea is that they are known influencers (and not a bunch of up and comers), meaning Apple wants to influence their group of followers (many of them already being Apple fans) to generate awareness and excitement. It’s basically a way to reach their audience.

If Apple wanted to reach out a bunch of naysayers and cynics to trash their products, they would have invited a total different of people (maybe invite some folks from this board)

lol, I don't get some of the negative comments in this thread. Tim Cook is just promoting Apple. Not going on some media tour defending criticisms. It's all part of the marketing apparatus. As for iJustine. She's not a reviewer. Never really was. She's just a tech showcase and open boxer. Her channel seems more about celebrating technology and that's it. At least that's always been my take away of her channel.

and get almost 7 million less viewers?

They could do both and give their more technical fans more content that they want. They can still work with the iJustines of the world, just also work with at least one Anandtech.

What makes you so certain that the viewpoint of "Anandtech" is somehow more valid than that of iJustine? You're writing as though there's some objective value that is easily uncovered and that Apple is evading that so-called fact. But underneath all of this assumption is a house of cards. There is no "center" to any of this. Your viewpoint is not more valuable than a fan of iJustine. It's only more valuable to YOU. Stop with this holier-than-thou exaltation of your own opinion. :)

iJustine is the perfect example of making it big because you’re a cute girl with lots of energy who appeals to tons of nerds. She’s a 3 in the medical device sales industry. Can’t take her at all seriously. It’s all smoke and mirrors with very little substance.

iJustine had the best interview. Asking Cook what he does with his Vision Pro is lame. Giving Cook glasses at the end is also very lame.

Thought it was interesting that Marques mentioned Tim Cook’s interview with Dua Lipa as well, will have to catch up with that and the rest of these tomorrow, it’s getting rather late here.

I have no idea how you got all the way there from what I wrote.

You guys/gals by asking for critical interviews and challenging interaction are completely missing what Cook is and does for a living. Late night infomercial hosts with 45% margins don’t do that. They do things like “never before have you had the chance to use something so incredible and game changing! It will change the way you live your life! We’ve perfected it and now we can finally bring it to you: It’s revolutionary! SHAM-WOW!!!”

Im sure they weighed the opportunity cost.

They’re softball questions, and likely they were told in advance what they can’t talk about or ask.

In return Apple gets free advertising to millions. The “influencers” will get paid in YouTube hits.

In the business we call it an “advertorial.”

Read the comments on Marques’ video - most of his fan base just laughed it off, enjoying the partial troll job mocking the Magic Mouse.
