Yeah but that's the watch itself. I was discussing the sport band with another member because he was questioning the sanity of spending $50 on Apple bands when there are cheaper knockoff bands around.Apple Watch has had its share of rash issues too.

I've not had any allergic reactions to either my sport or stainless steel watches, for whatever that's worth. Allergies and autoimmune sensitivities are very tricky and difficult to predict. I did do a lot of research into Apple's efforts to mitigate allergic reactions and concluded I stood a good chance of success with their SS watch that has a ceramic back similar to ones used in surgical implants.
Their sport watch has a kind of plastic backing and I could end up developing a sensitivity to that at any time. The chemicals that go into keeping plastics pliant and non brittle really aren't very friendly to the body.
