Yeah but that's the watch itself. I was discussing the sport band with another member because he was questioning the sanity of spending $50 on Apple bands when there are cheaper knockoff bands around.

I've not had any allergic reactions to either my sport or stainless steel watches, for whatever that's worth. Allergies and autoimmune sensitivities are very tricky and difficult to predict. I did do a lot of research into Apple's efforts to mitigate allergic reactions and concluded I stood a good chance of success with their SS watch that has a ceramic back similar to ones used in surgical implants.

Their sport watch has a kind of plastic backing and I could end up developing a sensitivity to that at any time. The chemicals that go into keeping plastics pliant and non brittle really aren't very friendly to the body. Witness the controversy over pthalates and their suspected impacts on the human and animal endocrine system.

This is something that gets into my nerves all the time. Whenever the Internet on my phone is off I cannot send or receive iMessages. What I don't understand is why can't the message be sent or be received as a simple sms every time the Internet is offline. Why are we forced to choose iMessage or SMS while we could have both automatically?

I think it's messed up because we should not be subject to those issues. I had hoped Apple would resolve the SMS and iMessage problem that has plagued users for a long time, but I'm not sure how much of it was fixed. Apple needs to get the iMessage insanity cleaned up or use a new native SMS app outside of iMessage.

So this is a common issue to all iPhones then? But I don't get it, in the settings it gives you the option to send sms if iMessages is not available except it doesn't work. How can iOS programmers not be able to solve this issue? They haven't noticed this or they can't solve it?

I suspect Apple wants to lock you in iOS so that iMessage is exclusive of sorts. It's kind of stupid, really, because they need to retool iMessages to work with other phones for seamless SMS as standard.

I use Telegram for this reason.

Same, we have moved our business model off reliance on Apple due to the lack of long term commitment. Apple is welcome to continue to build it`s walled garden, equally Apple may well find the circumference of the same wall will diminish the more Apple strives to control and restrict it`s users.

same here. I own a beautiful Intel NUC Skull Candy, super fast and with easily replaceable RAM and HD.

I rather deal with hackintosh that Timmy and Jonny incompetence and greed.

These two fouls can't be left unsupervised and they are killing apple

Even when Apple get`s round to updating the Mac line up, you will have no idea how long you will need to wait for the next meaningful update. Maybe Apple will choose to dump on you like all the nMP owners, making the big "can't innovate my ass" speech only to dissregard the product for close to a 1000 days, truly pathetic

Apple 2016 = tricks & bells, baubles & gadgets, most of all Greed...
