And, more importantly, unlike FaceBook, Apple apps will likely never be party to influencing/interfering with US elections.

What about Apple news app. What about all of the other news apps. But thats probably right, Apple apps will only support one candidate and the news app will, IMO, never gather much ground. But, Apple wants to be the preeminent influencer, so their time will come.

Cook is dumb like a Fox

I believe Steve Jobs would disagree with you since he appointed Tim Cook to reign as CEO. Aside from your disrespectful comment without even making a valid reason why you believe Tim Cook is “Dumb” , I would say Tim Cook is a fairly smart and competent individual who has led Apple success since 2011 in many different avenues.

Finally someone who is talking sense! Couldn’t agree with you more although I fear you’ll be hard pressed to find many on this forum who agree with you since it all seems to be the same old “Apple is doomed” but hey it takes all sorts I suppose

What about the News app? Mine works OK - it's one of my most used apps.

If you don't know how to configure it to display news sources you're interested in, perhaps a visit to the Genius Bar is in order.

Tim Cook hates the US constitution, the rule of law and he is for lawless open borders.

He is against American workers and wants to make America a 3rd world country
so he can have even more control as his net worth keep approaching $1 billion.

He should resign and move to a foreign country but very few will accept him

since his lawless views and sexual preferences are forbidden in most countries
and they will probably put him in jail or execute him as soon as he set a foot in them.

Yep, I don't want my news from the 35 or 40 limited sources Apple approves of. Thats not freedom of speech. Until Apple allows all news sources without prejudice, this is just a form of censorship with enough marketing resources to make people that its not.

Cook has a political view and Apple will enforce that political view through its news App. I for one find that no different that what Putin does with the media in Russia, or the what the current dictator in Venezuela does with its media. We have a First Amendment for a reason and Cook is a proponent of suppressing speech that is not to his liking, regardless of the Constitution or legality.

You should be able to sue apple for breach of your constitutional rights, no?

Or, you may not like the feeds the news app delivers, but making some baseless statements (and unproven statements) doesn't help the point in your post.

Have any credible sources to backup anything said above?

Tim Cook is definition of an entrepreneur. The very country that gives people like you the same opportunity Tim Cook has. Your post smacks of intolerance and America gives one the freedom not only to give one's opinion about moving on, but doesn't prevent anyone person from leaving the country to find a better place to live and make money.

Tim doesn't even know what the world Entrepreneur is. He is an appointed manager.

Apple news is a propaganda app like most news organization in order to try to control speech he doesn't agree with.

Half of Apple employees disagree with Tim but they are censured or fired if they dare to contradicts his lunatic anti-American ideologies.

That guy is absolutely toxic. You’re wasting your time. He’s been on my ignore list for ages.

Because of what it means. DACA recipients are robbed of their livelihood as they were residents already. You can't do that as it's immoral and unethical, regardless of how you view DACA.
I thought DACA was in reference to children who came to the US vs children of undocumented persons who were born here. The latter are citizens, the former are still illegal aliens with a permit designed to allow them to remain in the country for a limited time. As always immigration issues are complex, but as I understand it, these people are not granted a permanent stay in the US.

I get that you can interpret it as that way but the morality that Cook (I'm a big critic of his btw) talks of is the taking away of their livelihood by not renewing it. You can't do that in any ethical or humane way. It has to become permanent as these are people who have went from legal to illegal by a lapse of renewal. You can't do that to human beings. Btw, this is different from illegal aliens in this country which I abhor. I was also anti-DACA but you get behind it when passed and don't play politics with people's lives like this. It's a very unique and sad situation. Makes me ashamed to live here.

I'm going to stay away from the morality of this issue as there is no right answer. The right answer is not permanent status or deportation either as I don't know what the "real right answer is". However, I wanted to clarify what I thought DACA was vs your post.

You said they're illegal aliens with a permit to stay here. That means you can't be an illegal alien and that's the moral aspect that Cook is alluding to. You can't dodge the moral aspect if commenting on it and there is a a right answer, IMO.

When they came here, they were "illegal aliens" as they weren't born here. Hot button topic. And no, there is no right answer.

A kid doesn't decide these things. I wouldn't apply the moniker of illegal alien to a child in such circumstance. Why is the right answer to no make them permanent residents as they're that in all but name. Or, were until Trump shattered their very existence.

They were never residents since they had no green card or valid visa. Just because I’m letting you crash on the couch doesn’t mean you’re on the lease or mortgage.

Give me a break. Education has been a mess for decades regardless of administration. The Left/Right Duopoly don't give a cr*p about educating children. And throwing money at it will solve nothing.
The right for sure doesn't give a crap. Sorry, but has been like that for decades. I can agreed that democrats are no saints on the issue but at least they "try" to make things better while the GOP doesn't give a damn. Sad but true

Facebook and Tim Cook... different avenues...

Tim Cook hates the US constitution, the rule of law and he is for lawless open borders.

If u were the richest person, or control over/changed the world, ask yourself "what would tim do?"

You have all that power, why wouldn't you use it ? Not saying Tim wouldn't sacrice privacy, but it IS business after all right ?

A high pressure salesmen will talk for hour to get you to buy something, while half the features he talks about doesn't even work..

Then he runs off his ya money laughing.

So glad Tim is CEO. He reflects the values of 90% of Apple users I know, in the real world.
Typical leftist statement, "Yes, everybody really agrees with my views." And also: "Those that disagree with me are hateful, anti-science, far right..etc.".

Democrats (including rich liberals) want to import millions of (mostly uneducated) people that vote 85-90% for the Democratic Party, while simultaneously ruining the welfare system, societal cohesion and social trust. That's called "undermining democracy" and "importing voters". This is an incredibly cynical policy, just like Democrats calling voter ID "racist" to hide the fact that illegal immigrants overwhelmingly vote Democrat.

Oh, the hypocrisy...

They were never legal to begin with, only a permit to stay and should not get ahead of lawful people wanting residency in this great country.
