Such a shame that Tim is CEO when there are hundreds of people who could do a much better job on these forums. Heck, they will even take that sentence seriously.
More like: "The interim guy who's managed to prevent the ship from sinking, for now".
They say "don't judge a book by its cover", but jeez could they have picked a worse picture of Tim? For someone who is being lauded in the book for taking Apple to the next level he looks either mad or constipated.
Tim Cook, The genius that converted Apple into a non-upgradable disposable appliance products.
I can't say I have anything nice to say about the guy. Glad he has a book about himself though.

Genius? GENIUS!! He the corporate careerist who just happened to be at the biggest tech company booming & fell ass-backwards into the CEO seat when the true genius died.
If anything Timmy's the Little Finger who organised to coup to oust Scott Forstall. Remember that, the guy who was the architect of iOS & came up with Newstand & Wallet years before they recycled it. He was forced out 'cause an unnecessary map app was glitchy. Meanwhile how are those butterfly keyboards going? Or the flex cables for the screens? How bent is your IPad Pro? What about Touch Disease, did they cure that from older iPhones? Far worse problems yet no one has been made accountable at all.

Yes guys, despite what is said here, Tim Cook IS a genius and HAS taken Apple to the next level.

I think he has really done a great job regardless what the comment sections here have shown. The Apple Watch is going to be gigantic moving forward and that was a product that was developed completely under Tim Cook. The sales speak for themselves. People love Apple products.
Laughable. Tim Cook has proven he cares little for innovation. If he did, we wouldn’t have a camera bump. Oh we have a great camera, blah, blah, blah. No, Apple. No camera bump. Figure it out.

I need a weather widget on the Lock screen AND Home screen. I need to see the latest weather conditions every time I use my phone.
iPhone needs a torrent client. No way I’m paying for any type of media.
If you want task-based productivity then the iPhone is for you. Otherwise no. Just no.

IMO, Apple have been downgrading themselves since Steve passed... what next level are we talking about here other than spending more on marketing while selling slightly upgraded **** to current owners and selling old **** to new people all at a higher price?
Genius??? The only genius I know at Apple after Steve Jobs is the Genius Bar. Tim is a mediocre CEO.

Tim Cook can make the current trains run efficient and on time at Apple and please the crap out of Wall Street but he is not the guy who will invent or discover new, faster, better trains that take time to build, iterate on and refine... what he can do is enable those who are to implement the final copy, certainly.
Check out the Apple Watch. Entirely created under his watch.
Like everyone, I used to know Apple as a computer company. If you look at how they treated the consumer who needs a PC at home - it is no longer a computer company. The computers are just not competitive enough from a price point or from a specs point to justify purchases and theyu no longer brag about increasing market share. To renew the innards of the Imac in 2019 without a fresh redesign just means Jonny Ive is out on permanent vacation from the computer department. I don't care if Tim will be seen as good or bad - I just wished the computer department could be revitalized (of course I am sure Tim is aware of data that may be telling him not to invest in the computer department for whatever reason). I wanted the Mac Mini to be reasonably priced with better specs but we got neither. Just look at how people are making Hackintoshes of the mac mini for half the price using an Intel Nuc8. If you are a youtube vlogger or make money from web/graphic design then you can afford one (or rich). The rest of us are stuck with Windows 10. I think the move to put a gaming platform on the Apple TV and move photoshop to the Ipad shows that they want to get rid of making computers.
