You should increase your Move goal. Make it more of a challenge. I currently have mine set at 1050 and it's tough for me to hit everyday.
I've noticed that watch people fall into two groups. The first groups seems to set reasonable goals that are achievable on the average day. My move goal is set to 650. For me, that works out to about 10,000 steps or about 5 miles. If I accomplish that in a day, I feel like I'm doing well. And I do hit that every day. Most days I go well over that 650 and typically end up in the 800-900 range. But if I went to bed tonight having only hit 650, I'd still feel like I did well, while 649 calories would make me feel like I came close, but failed.
The other group seems to set their watch so every day is a challenge. I'm not saying either method is right or wrong. But I simply have no interest in pushing myself all day long, every day for a goal I may or may not hit. I have no desire to have a workout that essentially starts in the morning and ends when I go to bed. I don't think hitting 10 miles is a day is going to make me twice as healthy as only getting 5 miles in. I think it's fantastic that some people push themselves like this. But that's not for me. I get my workout in and call it a day. For me there has to be an end in sight. I literally can't relax for the day until my watch is done. I couldn't just go and go and go and go until bed time with no down time.
So I guess I'm not looking for a challenge. I just want to stay healthy and hit some reasonable fitness goals.
