Im so torn on what I want. Im getting the Sport Watch for sure. The band color is messing me up. I like the space gray and black a lot. I also like the white band more and more. I have darker skin tone since I’m outside all day for work. I think the white would stand out to much on darker skin. I also like the blue… I’m thinking of buying the white and getting a black band later…?

Keep going back and forth between space grey sport or silver SS.

The ONLY thing keeping me going back to the sport is the weight (and price obviously).

I know the sport is lighter, I just have no idea if that will make much of a difference. I hate clunky heavy watches

If you wear it properly (snug) you're not going to notice that difference.

Is anyone considering purchasing a Leather Loop with their Sport watch?

I think it should look fine as there isn't any (apart from the small ring where the bands join) stainless steel on it.

I'll be buying the 42mm Sport and then maybe the Leather Loop in blue or black at some point down the line.

My choice is the aluminum space gray with a black band. I would prefer the 43mm, but not sure it's worth the $50.

I have until 3AM EST to decide....

I was considering getting the SS 42mm with the Milanese loop band and also pre-ordering the SS link band separately in case I didn't like the SS loop. However, I'm not sure you can return the band that comes with the watch without also returning the watch with it. That of course would significantly delay getting a replacement watch and band.

I chatted with an Apple CSR and he said he did not know whether that would be possible and could not answer my question. There is sure a lack of information from Apple regarding the details on purchasing a watch.

Long time viewer, but finally decided to start posting so I can join the :apple: watch discussion.

I'll be ordering the 38mm sport model with blue band tonight. Looking at what a lot of others have chosen, it doesn't seem to be one of the most popular models.

I've settled for the sport now i just can't decide on the 38 or 42

Attached is my current watch, that I find too small (dial-wise) for my wrist. Thoughts?

I think both look okay on you. If I were you, I would go with the 42mm since it is more real estate. I am hesitant on the 38mm because I am worried it would be harder to select things on screen, which was raised in some reviews.

I still can't decide between Milanese and SS links. Doing my head in.

Someone decide for me?

I am having the same problem, but leaning heavily toward the SS loop because of the more precise fit, the better price, and the fact that it is lighter and cooler. It is a steel fabric so it has the advantages of the feel, fit, and ease of use of a fabric, but is considerably more durable. What I do like about the SS link is that it is probably the best looking of all the bands, but that is where the advantage ends.

What I may do is pre-order two SS watches, one with the SS loop and one with the SS link, schedule a try-on next week and cancel the order I don't want.

this was my thinking that it's a bit larger not too much, but i'll able to have more screen space plus the potential for longer battery life. I'm just concered about size and weight. That fossil watch, was purchased when i was in 8th grade/14. I'm now 29 :p

Do you not think the loop looks a bit weird since it sort of sticks out at one of the ends? It looks great in some videos and awful in others. Whereas the link looks great everywhere.

42mm is absolutely worth the measly 50 bucks. Apple's battery claims state that the 42mm experiences longer battery life, and the tiny increase in real estate seems like it really helps the experience.
