DTV up and running

Just wanted to say thanks for all this info about DTV. Installed without any problems and updated the drivers the the cmd line help posted here.

One weird thing is that when I try and install the MTTP.exe update I get an error message saying that this software was not meant for this computer and refuses to install.

Other than that, everything is working like a dream.

Thanks!

Thanks much for all the info in this thread, everything provided was helpful!

Is there anything available that doesn't require the swap trick that also includes .net framework? I can't find anyone who has windows xp discs, I only have dell system recovery stuff that came with computers and they won't do the trick. I have DTV set up right now and everything is great, EXCEPT:

I want to play Aion, that is the only real reason I'm setting up bootcamp, and DTV does not support .net!

Use a vista disk to format the drive partition made with Bootcamp into NTFS. Then just boot from the TinyXP disc at start-up and install it on the partition. The swap-trick is entirely unnecessary.

hi guys, my superdrive on my MBP is rather knackered (im not putting even a blank CD in there anymore) so im using an external. I am about to embark on installing tinyxp, but just wondering if anyone knows what the external CD drive will be called under the windows partition. no drive D: as this the (not-so)super-drive, any commands to find this out, or is there a logical order for naming them, i.e. it will be called E: drive.

thankyou for the abundance of information shared on here, Joel
