Natural titanium with my Bandwerks cordovan leather band.

I’m within the 14 day return period and have decided to return the watch. Will Apple store just accept it no questions asked?

As long as you have everything in the box. If you ordered online you can go to your order and print a shipping label for return.

Had the SBTI for 10 days but ultimately returned it for aluminum. In real life i could barely tell the difference.

kept the gray sports band by accident though 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting. Was it you couldn’t tell the difference because of the overall look between the casing materials or the weight between the two?

Odd. The DLC Ti case is a darker matte vs the purplish space gray aluminum and you get the sapphire crystal.

My raise to wake feature is always off. I just recently ran my TiS5 with AOD off for the last 24hrs and I must admit, I’m starting to really like it at times. It has a nice minimalist visual appeal. And toggling the crown to wake, then immediately covering to blackout has a satisfying feel. If I had an S4 I would not consider upgrading unless I would benefit from a specific function. I'm going to wait for a new, thinner case design with a better battery before I upgrade.

Considering taking my natural titanium back for the space black since mine has begun to accumulate more microscratches than I'd like.

To anyone with the space black titanium, is it holding up well thanks to the coating?

I don’t own the space black titanium, but I have a lot experience with the DLC on the stainless, and it’s next to impossible to scratch it, I mean, it’s not impervious to damage, but it’s very difficult to do so. The reason I think the space black isn’t as popular, is because of the band pairing/matching, which actually I find to be more customizable than most think.

But if you’re looking for added protection, then you’re on the right path with the DLC on the titanium.

This sounds exactly what I am on the path for. I love the look of the natural ti but I can't stand the micro scratches at the moment. I'll be returning it today for a space black ti.

Had a look at both Titaniums for the first time today in my local store. The natural Titanium is certainly distinctive and looks pretty cool under the store lights. I can’t really make up my mind on the SB Titanium - I currently own a SBSS Series 4 with a finish I would describe as a high gloss top coat, whereas the finish on the Titanium almost looks like a thin black primer coat, somewhere between matte and eggshell.

I'm at my last day to exchange my 40mm Stainless Steel. The scuffing "issue" (my word) concerns me. But I appreciate 3 years of AC+ coverage - could help defer the cost - and the extra band. Not sure the wife wouldn't kill me if I spent another $100, but... anyone want to sway me one way or another?

3 weeks in and still good. I’ve taken keys and a butter knife to it and nothing. It’s 100 more then the SS and you get an extra band and another year Apple care. Unless you don’t like the look of brushed black it’s a no brainer. The SS black is a finger print magnet. It does feel lighter and more comfortable then SS. I get why people go with the al but I want the sapphire crystal.

May be confirmation that Ti is for me (rather than SS). But still a hard choice IMO.

I had SS for series 3 and really liked it. But after getting the Ti, I’m really enjoying the muted brushed look more. Seems classier to me.

Are you referring to taking keys and a butter knife to the natural titanium or the space black titanium? The space black titanium has a DLC coating, the natural titanium does not.
