I'm pretty sure my battery full charge capacity/design capacity is smaller than it should be.

CoconutBattery says I'm at 4200 mAh full charge capacity and 4315 mAh design capacity.

Can you post your battery capacity?

    Thank you!

P.s. English is not my first language.

Check again right after you charge, and you'll likely see a larger number. For newer machines the 100% charge indication doesn't really mean 100% anymore, only close enough.

Macbook is two months old already, best I got was at 4335 mAh.

What I really want to know is other people design capacity.

I've read a review saying 6884mAh, but I have no way of verifying, as I don't have the machine

Original max on my soon-to-be-returned tbMBP is 4315mAh. Fwiw, my 'current max' is 4332mah

Is 4315 mAh the correct figure for the design capacity? Holy smoke that is small! My electronic cig uses a 3600 mAh LiCo! They must have a damned good chemistry to get the run times that are being reported!

If that is the correct figure and you are getting the stat of 4200 back, then this is nothing to worry about. Such a variation is not unusual, the stat can change throughout the life of the battery (sometimes in both directions), and we are only talking about 3%. As the battery ages, the capacity itself will gradually decrease, but this decrease is not necessarily perfectly incremental. Also, the App itself is probably not completely accurate, so some of that figure could be within an unknown margin of error.

If you begin to notice a dramatic change in run time, and this cannot be explained by usage or by a recent update, then it is time to worry. If the computer severely overheats (unlikely given it has thermal protections), then it is also cause for concern.
