To Caudabe or not to Caudabe!

Has anyone else received any updates on their paragon orders? I’m about ready to give up on Caudabe at this point. Late September is basically over and still nobody has seen the paragon to even review.
i think I get my Paragons tomorrow but I honestly don't want to do the video until they are available to order. I’m going to get an exact shipping date tomorrow for those that have already ordered. I know so many people want to see the cases so I probably will still do a video on it since that’s what I’m getting as asked about the most.
I asked and got an email back saying early October so I'm holding out hope that means next week but we'll see. I'm not losing sleep over it. Still have my Sheath on and to be honest I only ordered Paragon because I was curious. The Sheath is a winner. Doubt this is coming off my phone until I upgrade. I'll have to really like the Paragon to have it replace my Sheath.
I've got a gray sheath ordered that (hopefully) should ship early October. I got an Apple silicone case, but it made me realize why I don't get silicone cases.
I got the Caudabe Mezzo for my AirPods and absolutely needed that texture on my phone.
I have a Mous Clarity 3.0 I can rock until I get the sheath, so I'm not in a rush.

I've ordered it, it's due to arrive.
I didn't get the case just because I don't like the camera control management at the moment.

I'm most interested in hearing how the material on the Paragon feels. I have all 3 ordered so I really hope it feels good.
Yeah! I really like it! It’s a bit more bulky than the Latercase I have on it right now, but the feel is good and it’ll match the case. It’ll still catch on to MagSafe too. Just not if you’re sticking it to a mounted pad because of the weight. The Latercase can attach to mounted MagSafe, since it’s thinner and doesn’t impede the magnets, but I’m mostly charging on flat MagSafe anyway. So it’s fine as a tradeoff.
so, I'm 48 hours in with my Sheath and most of my initial verdict still stands:
- very familiar experience: I love the texture and fit and finish
- the new buttons for volume and power are nice upgrades with very nice clickiness (I do not sense any looseness or rattling that was reported by a few here)
- the camera control cutout really prevents easy use of the camera control as a shutter release. it is fine for activating the camera and using the "slide gesture"
- even though this phone is slightly lighter than my 13pro, it feels and weighs a touch more than the 13pro with it's sheath.
I'll continue using it a few more days before swapping to the Apple Silicon for a comparison. pending Caudabe's response, I am tempted to potentially return the Caudabe (not sure what it will cost me these days...when I had a problem in the past, Caudabe let me send them a picture of a destroyed/cut case to avoid shipping it to them... but in that case, it was a Synthesis that was scratched out of the box)
i still haven't heard back from Caudabe but that seems expected from what others have written. when I had issues for my XS case (6+ years ago), they were much more responsive as their volume of sales was probably much lower.

Holy ****. The first paragons in the wild! What’s the material? Still hard to tell what the back is like. Photos almost look like silicone.
How’s the feel, texture, grip, etc?
