Mine too. That's my favorite quality of the Sheath. Mine have looked almost new even after a year. It does get smudgy sometimes, but a quick wipe and it looks new again. Very resilient little case. The sheaths are bullet proof
i have had Sheaths as my go to case since my iPhone XS and as you suggest, they age well. my 3 year old Sheath for the 13pro still looks close to new after a simple wipe down.Mine too. For whatever it's worth, last year I did use the Synthesis more than I ever have. Great case as well, but I did notice that the back got scratched up more easily than the Sheath. It wasn't bad by any means, but just an observation. I tend to be careful with my electronics so I don't think it'd be a problem unless you're rough with your phones.
My last year version looks brand new still. I expect the same with the new one this year as well.Anyone else experienced the scuffing and scratching on the back of their Synthesis case as described in the MobileReview Eh video (post 199)? I saw other posts saying it wasn’t an issue, and I’m usually careful with my iPhone, but I’d opt for the Sheath if there was any chance of my Synthesis looking scuffed after a few months.

The sheaths are bullet proof
Truth. I used a Sheath for 3 years on my 13 Pro and it still looks almost like brand new. And I don't baby my phone, it gets banged around plenty. All I ever did was take the case off and give it a quick scrub once every few weeks to get the dirt/dust, oils and whatever else off of it.The sheaths are bullet proof
I thought the same but unfortunately that's not true at all. The 16PM Synthesis scratches very, very easily. See my post here:
The Sheath is just a more “classy” utilitarian design than the Synthesis IMO.Got around to taking a few pics of the Sheath on the phone.

I second this. Having used both extensively, I’m still on Team Sheath. I like the Synthesis, but there’s just something about the Sheath. The Sheath is just a more “classy” utilitarian design than the Synthesis IMO.
Not saying it doesn’t and I don’t doubt you. So far so good with mine. I lay mine face down and don’t carry in a pocket with sharp things.I thought the same but unfortunately that's not true at all. The 16PM Synthesis scratches very, very easily. See my post here:
I ordered my Sheath yesterday afternoon. Received the "shipped" email with a tracking number this morning, tracking number was in the USPS system by this afternoon and is scheduled for delivery next Tuesday.I finally pulled the trigger on Monday and ordered my Sheath. the Smartish Monkgrip just wasn't cutting it with its bulkiness even though great for its price. I'm currently using a Silicon case to hold me over.
but frustrated that even though they gave me a tracking number 2 days ago, it still hasn't truly been put into the USPS system.
I actually use the Gripmunk specifically because it’s a bit thicker than the Sheath. I think the Synthesis and Gripmunk strike a good medium for how protective I’d like my case to be, it’s too bad the Synthesis seems to scratch easily. I don’t think it’d hold up too well working construction.I finally pulled the trigger on Monday and ordered my Sheath. the Smartish Monkgrip just wasn't cutting it with its bulkiness even though great for its price. I have 3 Sheaths and they all are fine. There could be a little wiggle but majority of cases with these butt s are going to have a little give in it.What I don‘t really like: The volume buttons (and to an extent the action button) are not really „firmly in place“… They have a little give / are a little loose, to the point that they make a rattling sound when shaking the phone.
Anyone else have noticed that? The power button does not have that issue…
