I'm a little confused about the Sheath vs. Paragon. I've owned many Sheaths... is the Paragon supposed to be more bulky or less? I realize no one probably has one yet, just trying to understand from the pictures/descriptions.

Also: "We’ve crafted Paragon with a protective screen lip that stands tall at the top and bottom, tapering elegantly in the middle for near-flush alignment with your phone’s screen, ensuring both effortless swiping and exceptional drop protection."

I don't know what this means! No pictures reflect this. Does this mean the case won't sit flat/flush if you put it 'screen down'?

Ringke take that approach on some of their cases, at least on previous phones. They are pretty flush on the sides for easy swiping with higher top and bottom for face down protection.
You tend to not be a fan after you drop your phone and it hits a side edge on something.
Same with cases that pull out at the sides easily.
Another reason I like Benks and the Spigen Enzo as they are a PC frame coated with TPU. Much tighter and more protective.

It appears they borrowed a couple of ideas from the Mous Limitless. Like the Mous, the front lip only rises above the screen at the top and bottom, while remaining flush at the sides. The case will lay flat but will only be resting on the raised edges at the top and bottom like the Mous and Dbrand Grip. They also added grip bumps along the side that look very similar to the Limitless.

They’re still saying the Synthesis is their most protective case.

Interesting.

Ironically, I'm not looking for protection - rather I need some grip/friction, as caseless iPhones typically slide out of my shorts/pants when I sit down. The Sheath is perfect in this regard, I don't want anything bulkier.

The Synthesis is slightly thinner depth wise but slightly wider than the Sheath. They both weigh about the same.
Sounds great. I do think I will try the Synthesis this year after 2 years with the Sheath. Does the back of the Synthesis has the same texture than the Sheath?

The Synthesis is smoother...not as gritty feeling. I have always been a Sheath fan for a number of years, but decided a few months ago to try to the Synthesis for my 15 PM. I think I prefer the Synthesis as it feels better in the hand to me. Obviously all personal preference, but you can always return it if your not satisfied. I ordered one of each for the 16 PM.

Slightly smother and harder.

I like the look of the Synthesis with the dot matrix side grips, camera bump design and slightly smoother and harder back. And it feels better in the hand to me.

It seems like the Paragon is the big unknown.

What is it? Is it closer to the Sheath or Synthesis? It seems like it's a new line to show off bolder colors but without any real-world reviews, no idea how much bigger or thicker the case is or how the grip is on it.

I'm in this camp too. The Synthesis has been my favorite case even though I used to be a Sheath guy all the way. It's the dot matrix side grips that do it for me too. Once you get used to that, it's hard to switch.

I got a Paragon too. I'm not sure what to think either, but I like the look of the white one. If it holds up well, that might be my new favorite. We'll see.

My order has shipped as well as of today. Why don't you just contact their customer service email? I've done it multiple times. They're usually good in my experience.

Have done and heard nothing back well over 24 hours so maybe not so good 😊

Customer service is running behind. They have been getting back to me within hours, but over the past few days since launching, they have taken longer and apologized for the delay in response.

Yeah it’s poor they know every year what might happen, spigen other manufacturers can get cases out on time but Caudabe seem to struggle

these Should be good to go for availability on launch,it’s piss poor and let’s be honest they aren’t cheap

but this is probably my last year of using them they don’t seem to want to grow the business ,let’s be honest these should be available on Amazon etc but they aren’t and probably my last year as they don’t seem to be able to run a piss up in a brewery lately rant over lol

Yeah, I am not particularly happy that every launch, we wait weeks for products to ship.

I am also taking a huge gamble ordering one of their cases with Apple adding the camera control button. Caudabe may claim their cutout works with the control, but we have been warned that many cutouts won't effectively work.

One advantage of ordering the Paragon is that I have to wait longer than those of you who ordered the other two models and will be able to read your reviews on whether the cutout works, giving me ample time to cancel and get a refund if it doesn't.

Hope you receive your case soon. Good luck.

So nobody has theirs yet? I‘ve received a shipping notice, but APC tracking still says „the shop is preparing your order“. I guess it will take a while to be shipped overseas, anyway…

In the meantime: Can any one receiving their sheath post pictures? I am curious about the buttons, because they appear to be different in different pictures…

Here they appear to be rounded:

But here they appear to be flat:

Any updates?

I'm torn as to whether I am going to get another Sheath at sometime this year. (I usually end up with about 6 cases). I used mine quite a bit last year (more than any other TPU case), but a few months ago, one or two of the magnets in the ring dislodged and started bulging the case out in the back slightly, which could be felt, and was really annoying. Ended up not using it any more after that.
