I ordered one and reserved one in case of a shipping delay.

I was able to do it through regular channels by staying up late on launch night. Not hiring people to squat in line for me or other dubious means.

I'll sell it for the best offer I get and I don't see any reason to apologize for that.

To the original question, not sure how you could sell it before it's announced or pre-orders go live. You'd have no guarantee of getting one to sell.

Much to my surprise while visiting a friend over a Starbucks drink and discussing our pre-order experiences, the person at the next table approached me with an offer to buy one of the two I ordered.

The amount he offered was simply mind boggling and reinforced his position as a professional operating in a price is no object world.

I've never entertained the idea, but only a fool would pass up the massive amount of cash I'm making from this single transaction.

I see, interesting. So you're using craigslist as well? How about trying to sell to people that waited in line to get their new iPhones at the Apple Store, but weren't able to. I feel like by going to the source (Apple Store) you'll have tons of people willing to buy.

If I do craiglist I'm thinking about meeting buyers at a bank. Does that seem safe?

I passed on including the details since there's a continent of haters that live to attack.

In general, it's a fully loaded iP6+, Silver, confirmed arrival tomorrow before 10am via FedEx, as in years past. I have presented the buyer with all documentation to prove delivery date.

It sold for just over 3x msrp. He gave me half in advance, the final half tomorrow when I deliver the phone to him.
