Good news for everyone that's missing out tonight. ATT customers may cancel their orders due to the jacked up pricing and look at switching carriers first.
Not an option for us some are taking the risk of buying the subsidized price and then having apple change you over to the Next plan.
Bleh, the one near me only had 16gb Plus..... Went ahead and got it. We'll see...

I have the same question. I'll be screwed if this is the case. I'll have to cancel the order.
The thing is, I asked an apple rep yesterday yesterday and they said I would be fine as long as it wasn't being shipped. It's not technically being shipped as I'm picking up in store, so I don't see why there would be a difference. Also, I used my debit card to purchase.

I preordered a phone for launch and it arrived yesterday, but I have two dead pixels or dust under the screen. I also decided I would rather the plus after seeing it in person.
I couldn't get Apple.com to accept a reservation for my existing line, because I've obviously already used my upgrade. So I created a brand new account, and reserved the new phone under that. I should be able to swap the phone to my existing line when I get there, right? Has anyone else tried this?

Haha you're probably right. But at least this way I can get this phone and play with it. Will most likely return it. 16gb doesn't seem like enough for the Plus
