Thanks to the OP and everyone else in the thread. Just got my order in for my 6+ space grey 16g for pickup today in Escondido (north San Diego). Sure beats my scheduled ship date of OCT 14th. I was pretty worried to cancel my pre-order but it worked out.

I haven't cancelled yet and I just ordered my phone from apple.
My estimated ship date per ATT is 11/9 - 11/28 or something horrible like that.
If they give me any #$@! about cancelling THAT, someone is going to get an ear full.

Got it! Though sadly I think I screwed myself. Traded in my 5S when I bought a regular 6 at Verizon Corporate earlier with intent to just return it when I was ready to get the plus elsewhere. Didn't realize that they're not going to give me the whole refund in cash, just what I paid, I would imagine. So much for having a $140 phone 
I wonder how long it'll be doing this? Will there be midnight ordering for store pickup on Sunday? And then Monday and so on? Lol...
All the iPhones at my local store almost sold out everything in less than 30 minutes. I'm literally sitting here refreshing and checking, it's pretty interesting.
Sacramento and the Bay area are still fully available for the 64GB 6 and only the bay for the 6+

If picking up, do we still need to wait in the really long lines, Or do we go to the front/separate line?

I was in a pretty bad boat myself. I was living life to the fullest prior to my surgery. Here comes this week, the iPhone is released and I don't even have a clue. I'm thinking...you know, my battery is starting to shorten...maybe I should get a new iPhone...oh no...I'm going to have to wait until December.
