this thread did make me come to the conclusion that i do need a new wallet pretty badly. The insides are completely ripped. Outside looks nice, thats all that matters right?! Who needs to keep their credit cards within the pockets!?

Some of the wallets people have here are expensive, at least by my standards. My wallet was $20 from American Eagle, but some people here have wallets that were $100+. My goodness, if I spent that much on a wallet I wouldn't have much to put in it (poor college student here).

My wallet!

I wont spend more than 20 on a wallet.. tops. My current one is 15 dollars, but it was more of the design (it says a band name on it) rather then a funtional wallet. Im growing out of the novelty wallets anyways.

Man, I groaned at paying $10 for a wallet! Why do I want to spend that much money on what I'm going to carry my money around in? I'd rather carry the extra $10+ dollars in a crappy wallet than carry $10+ fewer dollars in a nicer wallet (as it happens, I still have a good leather wallet, but I only paid about $9 for it, thanks Ross!).

I posted this image in an older thread, but it hasn't changed much:

pocket-1.JPG

1. Wallet
2. Keys
3. Cellphone
4. Kershaw Blur
5. HK USPc .45, 8+1 of Ranger SXT +P
6. Spare mags
7. Fenix P2D

I stopped carrying the iPod a few months ago when I upgraded my phone

Same as a lot of people

1. Wallet
2. Keys
3. Phone
4. Knife

There really isn't a 5th item, but with all the crap on my keyring, it should count as 5.

Nice HK! I was going to get the same gun, I ended up getting a Kimber Tactical Pro 2. I like the 1911 design myself.

My carrying items:
1. Keys.
2. wallet.
3. Memory stick
4. iPhone 3g.
5. Gerbet Knife.
Pending my CPL-
6. Kimber Tactical Pro 2 (.45 ACP 7+1/going to get a few bigger magazines). I trust my life with my .45. The rest are meaningless items.

Are you in law enforcement or something? It'd odd for civilians to carry extra mags, I'd certainly hope that you wouldn't need to fire 36+ shots somewhere just going about your day.:p

Not a bad idea though... I guess better safe than sorry.

Spring assist? Looks nice...

Yeah, I am a long time 1911 shooter, but couldn't see me carrying one daily for a number of reasons. The USP is great because the controls are very close to those on a 1911, while offering the advantage of a DA/SA trigger, polymer frame, and a slightly higher capacity magazine.

I usually pack as much as I can without it being uncomfortable or being seen. Usually this means 1 mag in a leg pocket, but it just so happens on the day I took that pic I had two mags in a belt holster.

Yeah, it's a great little knife. I used to carry a Benchmade auto, but replaced it with the blur which is just as fast to get at, slimmer, lighter weight, and about 1/6th the cost to replace if I loose it. I am pretty close to the Kershaw factory as well, so it's nice to be able to walk in there and have my knive sharpened in about 5 minutes while I wait in their lobby for free.

How about 6 items?

1) iPhone 3G
2) Wallet
3) Audi A6 keys
4) Sunglasses
5) Can of Griz wintergreen
6) Glock 23 (which replaced my Kimber Custom II TLE)

- wallet (with some money, but not too much, only about 10-15 €, so that I cannot spend to much)
- key (I only have one for my door)
- phone (sometimes I don't take it with me - I like to relax without it)
- clothes (because I don't like to go naked outside)
- sometimes my USB stick
