in my 7 years here I have gone threw maybe 5 badges ;)

I worked for Verizon Wireless for seven years. One day after I left, I found about 20 badges in my drawer. I had a bunch with my real name, some with my name shortened, others with asst. manager under them, etc. Thats not counting the 15 or so I had at the store when I left.

If you do not know what a light rail is, then you must live in the boonies. http://www.valleymetro.org/metro_light_rail/

Though it is showing the fact you never been on a city bus before. I took my iMac home on the bus, and I didn't get mugged, it is just normal people on it to get to a destination. You probably believe they are "ghetto" because of the television & media. Thank you Fox News. My company has a trip reduction program, and we get TRP benefits just by taking the bus to work 3 out of 5 days work week.

Honestly, you don't even know me, or what I think, so don't draw conclusions based on a couple of paragraphs typed on the internet.

I drive a 2004 Toyota Camry, and I still take the bus and public transportation. If you never use it, it just means you do not like to try different things....how did you end up with a Mac? It is sad how people can't even get out of their cars to go across the street/a few miles down the road.

Just because I said that I don't ever use it, does not mean that I haven't ever used it, once again you're drawing conclusions about things you know nothing about.

You're obviously trying to pick a fight with me, which is pretty sad, because this is the internet. You can assume whatever you would like, apparently this isn't going to be an intelligent conversation, you're missing the most important part, intelligence. So take it easy.

I don't really have to leave with 5 things I guess. I guess you could count my clothes as an item and whatever shoes I'm wearing that day.

Well, I usually carry six - but the sixth item is my Sony Cybershot DSC-t900, and I used it to take the picture. =P

I stopped carrying the iPod a few months ago when I upgraded my phone

Nice gun! :)

I live in Europe where we sadly can't carry those around with us, without running the risk of getting thrown in jail.

Just wondering, as I've seen other posts of people who carry guns on a daily basis, do you guys work in a profession where you NEED a gun or is it just a precaution?

I've been considering carrying a knife with me, but I never could justify it, since I never came across a situation it was necessary. Why do you guys carry knives?

Ok, I always bring...

a dildo
lube
handcuffs
a pterodactyl
the deathstar

...this is a silly thread

First three are on my "What Do You Bring To Vegas". LOL j/k

Mine would be...

phone
purse (ID, cash, credit cards, lipstick, etc)
sunglasses
gym bag (extra clothes)

there, only four...couldn't think of a fifth.

I carry a knife because its a dead useful tool. It all depends on what kind you've got really, but my knife just has a 2.5" blade, not very effective for self-defense. It is useful as a tool though. Use it to open/break down boxes, use it as a screwdriver, use it to clean the gunk off of stuff, etc. I find myself using my knife for something on a daily basis.
