Man, and I thought I was posting a lot more than usual. Actually, I have been. Forum Spy kicked up my posting rate considerably... but the ages and ages of lurking that preceeded it had skewed things in favor of people who seem to pay attention to this forum and this forum only. ;)

So do I. We'll stick with calling you ~Shard~, but, due to his extensive helping of other members in addition to spamming, mad jew easily qualifies as a lamproshard. In fact, I think I'll refer to any rapid series of successive helpful posts from him, or others, as "lamproshardian bursts".

Furthermore, I hope to see the "lamproshardian burst" count for each member listed in the stats here in six months. I think it's a key measure of a member's worth.

If I was remotely concerned about post count I wouldn't have waited until now to "fight back" :rolleyes:

For the record - I had more time to post before, now I don't. madjew has time to post, so he does.

Its amazing to me how many people think this is such a big deal....

this sounds awfully similar to what you said 3 years ago, you know, when you were on top of the post count heap to begin with. maybe the new people will buy it. ;) ;)
 
Us old timers are slowly dropping out of the Top 50.


Its scary to think this but tomorrow marks my 6th year as a forum member.

Even scarier I lurked before that, so I have been using Macrumors for close to 7 years.

I feel so old, I gave up my spot in the top 50 a long time ago, I barely even hang in the top 100 any more:(
 
Hey......... that top 50 list matches my ignore list exactly!


Except of course that can't be true because Doctor Q is on the list and he made the post.

More members were making a fuss about it than I was back then....its even worse now - look at some of the sigs....

And don't forget you hold the one-day-all-time-record for the most posts in 24hours which, if I remember correctly is just over 200 posts :p
