Top 50 Posters Extrapolated, January 2011

Thanks Q! It's odd how I look forward to these stats twice a year, and each time I try and remind myself to post more and defeat Q's statistical genius. And each cycle I fail. :)
 
My deal is that Real Life & Work Life keep interfering. Don't they know I'm MRing? All joking aside, the lack of broadband internet where I live does create a huge impact on my MRing, so any that I do is 100% done at... <dogeyes> work </dogeyes>
 
I have a question about posting. The rankings such as 6502, 68020, 604, etc are based on post count. Checking out the FAQ, I noticed it tops out with the G5 at 30k posts. So, when are going to see the Intel stuff? I want to see someone ranked as a Core 2 or a Xenon.
 
Unfortunately work life has been interfering with MR life for awhile, although I'm trying to stay in touch a little better now. It hit home that I dropped off the top 50 for the first time in awhile, so I guess I need to start wasting spending quality time here again. :D

Other than that's a product not a processor, I like it. Would the A4 ever qualify, or would it be considered "beneath" other processors since it's a mobile chip?

In all fairness, I've been posting more regularly for about a month now. Of course, it's the usual inane banter, so not surprising you may have missed it. ;)

Most likely after someone has more than 35 000 posts ;) If I had to guess or suggest, it would be like this:

35 000 - Core Solo (used in some Mac Minis)
40 000 - Core Duo
45 000 - Core 2 Duo
50 000 - i3
55 000 - i5
60 000 - i7
And then we run out of Intel CPUs :eek::p

"Xeon" as user title wouldn't work pretty well because the CPUs used in 2006 Mac Pro were Xeons and the CPUs used in current Mac Pros are Xeons as well. Sure, it could go like Xeon 5100, 5300, 5400, 5500, 5600...
 
I think Moderators should be given the ability to change the processors on obvious trolls to Windows terms:

DOS
Windows 3.1
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7

Could even have different levels for Home, Premium, Pro editions

:D
 
I thought "Banned" was the title reserved for habitual trolls. ;)

To be fair, you would have to do that to the extreme Mac fanboy/trolls. You know, Newton, Pippin, LISA, etc.

That's the best idea I've heard this year :p I give my thumbs up for that. Remember to save Vista for the worst trolls ;)
