Why is the Member's List disabled? It is hardly linked to, thus it should not get that much traffic, or does it?
When it's enabled it gets traffic from bots, and generating the sorted list takes more than an iota of processor time. So when it's disabled it's to improve overall site performance. I miss it too, but we can still find any user's post count from their user profile.

Thanks for the reply. Couldn't it be just enabled for registered users? I just like to browse those 1 post posters sometimes.

If it's not linked to then the only ways the bots can be finding it are either: default name they look for or cached links. Either can be defeated by changing the URL. So we could have forums.macrumors.com/notthememberlist.php

Or generate a static HTML version once an hour...

Q fine as usual. :)

At 11:00am UTC on August 7, 2012, user GGJstudios became the all-time leading MacRumors poster, tying user mad jew with this post and passing mad jew with this post.

mad jew, who retired from posting in September 2008, ranked #1 in posts from 2007 to 2012. Before mad jew, user Mr. Anderson was undisputed post champion.

Congratulations to GGJstudios!
Five years with no posting.

Can you imagine what mad jew posting rate would be?

He'll always be Dukestreet to me. :) And before Duke, wasn't it eyelikeart? I remember when I joined, his number of posts seemed unfathomably high... even now, 10 and a half years later I still haven't eclipsed him. :p <tips hat to the great man> :)

Nobody remembers exactly who was the leading poster when, but we know that eyelikeart and jefthatfield were two of the highest posters and later dukestreet rose to the top. See this post and this post where I interviewed them about it.
