This is the online equivalent of the walk of shame. :D
Maybe users should start with a high-end processor as their user title and be demoted to lower and lower processors if they post a lot, since it shows a lack of restraint.

Interesting as always Dr Q! I'm slowly climbing up that end of time table...and I thought there was a drop in my posting count this first half of the year.

Guess not!

Anyone care to extrapolate the approximate date the GGJ overtakes madjew? Have our selves a little wager.

The End of Time chart I posted this time already accounts for the long-term posting rates of all forum members. However, I could make a list of the historical top posting rates using each member's peak rate, e.g., compare Mr. Anderson in 2003, Lacero in 2006, mad jew in 2007, -aggie- in 2010, and most recently GGJstudios and simsaladimbamba. I'll start assembling the data.

Ah Lacero

Don't forget Tallest Skil. He was pretty prolific. I recall Jessica having some high volume periods as well

Gah, I suck! :(

:p

I'm surprised that I've moved up in my ranking. I feel like I've been posting less, especially since there is one less forum for me since I opted not to re-up as a demi.

#9 in the end of time list.....yikes.

That's cool. I'm not in the Top 50 on the highest post-rate list, but I'm like #8 on the list of highest post count.

I guess I've been here too long.

almost ten years for you! i realize that the only reason i'm in the 50 is because i've been here for 8 years now. makes you wonder where all the time goes.

Not many interesting things to talk about anymore. Unless it is painting my plamo. I can go on for ages about that right now.

We can talk about making twin DIY computers at the same processing power....
Well my Macbook's battery just decided to burst out of its case. I noticed it was become less flush lately. I will have to look into a replacement for this old Late 2007 model.

One in the eye for the minority who think I post a lot....:D I'm nowhere, just plod along at my own pace, and try to make sensible observations!:) Interesting statistics though, A big thanks to Dr. Q for the compilation!

That's one more for my minimal post count...( I don't really look at it to be frank)

thanks again for the stats Doctor Q. it's always fun to see how everyone stacks up. i noticed i'm not on the end of time list anymore. that's okay though. that's what happens when you get a real job and start a family

Good god.... That is a heck of a run. Five years in the top spot and to think he/she retired and still had four years in the top spot!

Not sure weither to applaud him or feel sorry for him for break such a record.

I am truly hoping no one here confuses posting numbers with posting quality.

There have been more than a few times when the current "champion" issued a quick reply and totally missed the actual issue involved.

...and, for the last 3 years, the current champion stuck to their line about nothing being wrong with memory management in SL and Lion. Time and time again we would see condescending posts on how people just didn't get the difference between inactive and free, etc.

I'm sure the current champion has helped a lot of people, especially to those new to the Mac and computing in general - but quick replies that miss the issue aren't helpful.
