It's a 5 that they just shrunk with Photoshop. You can tell because there are 5 rows of icons above the dock, when the 4/4s only had 4 above the dock.

Trade-In Options for iPhone 6 Buyers With Old Devices

I tried looking at my upgrade options with ATT but is was only offering me to upgrade my phone on the Next program where I turn in my existing phone and gt the 6 for free. dont think that is a good deal. Trying to figure out how to get around that. Anyone have ideas?
Anyone think a craig's list add for a *perfect* flawless unlocked iPhone 5s 32gig @ $600 is unreasonable? I'd include the Spigen case it is in and an OtterBox I bought, but stopped using for it's bulk. Still has it's belt clip too.

Does anyone know if the credit of $199 from a trade-in could be used towards a phone with a larger than 16gb capacity? This is for Verizon, fwiw.

From what I understand regarding the Verizon Trade-In Program, the details will go live when the phone does (this is weird to me). When you get to the screen where you select which phone to upgrade, you will be able to click the box that says trade in. You will then send it back and receive a $200 VZ Gift Card you can use towards BILLS! I do not think it is just a card you can use for whatever.
Regarding the "condition" term. I talked to someone and told them mine was cracked and missing a piece of glass on the back. They said I would still get the $200. Like someone said earlier, these companies are hurting themselves by being so quite about what they're offering. No where on VZ's site does it mention this promotion, but it is in fact the real deal.

Nearly always. (although a 4 might not) Did a 4s 32GB on eBay a month ago for $350.
They missed iCracked. Overall it's the best option I found because they will meet you on launch day and give you a prepaid debit card plus they are giving me more then most of the other quotes I got.

I'm getting conflicting stories on twitter and here w/ att's trade in program. I think i'll still be pre-ordering through apple tonight and take my old iPhone 4s into the store and see what they say.
I don't believe it's trade in credit on the spot towards your new device. I think it's a promo card, some which have said expires in 90 days and can only be used purchasing products at an att retail store. no where else.

This is the best link I've found so far for Verizon's iPhone Trade In. It does indeed state that even the 4 will get a $200 credit.

Saw nothing on the Apple site for credit if you do not get the battery fix (I have one of the bad ones and haven't gotten around to getting it replaced) before selling the phone back to Apple. I'd read somewhere - probably here - that they would pay more if you didn't make them do the fix before selling. Anyone know about this?

I am still in the process of investigating on the news of the Verizon Trade In 4, 4S, 5, 5C, or 5S. From 3 different reps I spoke to within the last 18 hours it seems to be all over the map
This deal is good for both 6 and 6 Plus and all models:
1st Rep (woman) - Stated that I can place the 4, 4S, 5, 5C, or 5S and automatically receive a $200 gift (for online) or $200 credit within the store towards a new activation of a 2 year contract (subsidized). This would extend your contract from year to date and give you $200 off the 2-year pricing.
2nd Rep (male) - Stated that I can place the 4, 4S, 5, 5C, or 5S and automatically receive a $200 gift (for online) or $200 credit within the store towards a new activation of a 2 year contract (subsidized). This would extend your contract from year to date and give you $200 off the 2-year pricing.

cracked glass
I have a 32GB verizon with a small crack in the top right corner of the glass. The crack can't be more then 2-3cm. I assume all of these trade in programs are for untracked screens... or am i wrong? whats my best option?
