After 3 months, I finally just asked for a refund. The good news is that they processed that very quickly.
Took about 5 weeks to get, no problems, high quality, new articulated cover for typing angle, a requested custom feature
I guess you ordered this one before you swore off wood.

I have to say that the case itself as far as typing angle is nice and it looks better than their last attempt but it still looks like a really really really bad after thought when compared to the Portenzo stylus case.

How the hell would you know?, you don't even own a case in real life of any type yet, right?
To anyone reading this thread, please disregard this guy's post. He doesn't own either of the cases that he is talking about, and therefore cannot possibly make the claims he is.
Received my refund today after being advised that I would not have a case in hand by Friday. This is extremely frustrating after a two and a half month wait, and seeing that custom cases go out in 5 weeks. There's a comment on their Facebook page from May about a 22 day turnaround. Sounds like a shill to me.
It's disappointing that the case I REALLY liked and was at the right price is the case I chose. Now, I'm basically forced to go with a case I didn't like as much for a higher price. I'm not paying Portenzo $68.
Your right I only have your pictures and others to go by. Why don't you chill. Just looks like they took a piece of pine wood or something and threw that together with their frame wood unlike Portenzo which is cut out of one piece of Maple plywood. Oh I forgot you had a hand in this design didn't you????
Please don't take offense, but unless you can prove it, this sounds like a shill. 6 weeks is still too long for a shill, but after just canceling an order from 4/23 without receiving my case, I don't believe it.After extensive research, I ordered a Treegloo case on 5/23 and was originally quoted 2-4 weeks for delivery. Received FedEx tracking number last night and will have the case by Friday. I will post review once it is in hand.
Treegloo has been generally very good in responsive to emails and a few took a couple of days for a response but that is ok given their demand and workload. I told them I would be willing to wait a bit longer for a quality case but that I needed the case no later than 7/8.
6 weeks seems like a long time to wait but I am hoping it was worth it... I hate that damn Apple smart cover.
Frame Finish: Natural
Cover Color: Galactic Gray
Liner Color: Fantastic Blue
Liner Type: Cloth
Latch Option: Magnetic Cover

Not sure how they are building orders... seems people that have been waiting the longest are getting screwed which obviously does not seem fair nor right. Custom orders seem to be shipping quicker as well... which makes no sense
Aside from some items off Amazon, I've ordered iPad cases/sleeves from Treegloo, Enki, and WaterField. Only the last seems to have any notion of what customer service should be. As a result of WF's customer service and excellent products, I have ordered multiple times from them and will do so again.
I recently discovered Waterfield (my wallet wishes I didn't). They make great products and seem to have their act together. When they were recently out of stock for a product, they took pre-orders, and had estimates posted on their website about when customers could expect the products to ship. The estimates must have been realistic, since they managed to ship ahead of time. Some other companies (I'm talking to you, Treegloo) could learn something from Waterfield.
To me, both cases are nice. I have 2 Treegloo cases and I chose them over Portenzo because of the customization options. I have been satisfied with the case so far. I can't comment on my opinions on the Portenzo case other than it looks nice from the pictures because I do not own one, just like you.
I have to admit, from reading your posts it really seems like you are some kind of Portenzo plant. You argue against anyone posting negatively about Portenzo and then make negative comments on other similar cases, despite the fact that you own none of them.
Do you also review cars that you haven't even test drove or even seen? Would you also comment negatively on a TV that you don't own or even seen?
Why not hold your one-sided opinions until after you actually own a case, then post? Why even come into a thread about a case that you don't own and don't plan to own just to make negative comments about it? It's tacky.
