davekarn,

do you have a modified carrier file, or are you running a clean version of 3.1?

davekarn,

Just updated to 3.1 and used the carrier file from the link on the first page. Then rebooted and have the camera icon and everything.

Why not resyncing the ipcc file brings it back and it sounds like it's all working still once that file is re-synced

can you confirm a 3.1 OS and resyncing the ipcc file still allows tethering?

what about the ultimate combo
itunes 9 + 3.1 + tethering + MMS? can anyone confirm this?

I dont care about tethering as it it's something I use but MMS is the biggy for me.

If it's broken now and wont work (which seems weird if you ask me) then oh well I have to wait but Im hoping it's working.

Work cant end enough so I can go home and update.

MMS works in Denver, CO with the hacked 5.1 file on 3.1. I think SL is causing my issues with tethering. Maybe because I only updated to SL instead of clean install?

Reporting from Ann Arbor, MI again. Earlier while having 3.01 installed, I installed the 5.1 IPCC, it didn't work.

Since then I restored my phone, restoring the default AT&T 4.0. I then updated to 3.1 which also gave me a new official AT&T 5.0 update. I then proceeded to install the 5.1 hacked IPCC again and rebooted, still NO MMS. Camera icon and everything is there along with MMS options in the Messaging settings, but still not working in Ann Arbor, MI

Will somebody help me test mine? Everyone I know has an iphone lol and Im the only one with 3.1 itunes 9 and the MMS icon. If you dont mind ill PM my number for a test message. Im a fireman and not some creepy internet dude. Thanks fellow Macrumorians.

iPhone 3.1 OS, iTunes 9.0, ipcc hack, MMS doesn't work. I'm over in the San Bernardino, CA area.
