As reliable as Ming Chu Kuo and his sources

This isn't true at all. In the last five years or so I think there was one minor hardware prediction from MCK that has been incorrect.

Digitimes has a terrible record in both accuracy and timing of product releases.

EDIT:

Run down of Ming Chi Kuos track record up until 2015 in this article from Cult of Mac

This article from Time only up to mid 2012 but shows how patchy Digitimes record is.

Right... You do Kuos is batting about 20% of ALL THE THINGS HE ACTUALLY SAYS, if you say 1000 things, your lilkely will be right on a good lot of then; him parroting things latter on doesn't really count as him revealing it either. People seem to forget who actually revealed things first and only remember Kuos.

I call, observer bias, on all this.

Use volume controls, like you do now ?
volume controls are a snooze. touch id turns that particular alarm off. I want to turn off a 7:00 am alarm without looking and comfortably remain in bed until 7:40 alarm goes off.

Today, your home button would be on the left or the right. With video in landscape, and the screen apparently being 18.5 : 9, there are two possibilities: Either the video uses the full height of the screen and there is a bit of border on both sides, then possibly you can just put your finger on the left side. Maybe the video gets scaled up so you lose a bit at the top and bottom but use the full space, then must likely you swipe the screen from either side and the button is there.
Just saw this. That would make sense I suppose, use some space on the side for the home button if the video area is 16:9 or whatever.

Yes, but i'll bet samsung will try to steal apple' s thunder by announcing the new note, just before the iphone8/x with touchid in display.
True :( hopefully Samsung hasn't perfected it yet. I want to see Tim Cook on that stage announcing something so revolutionary. I don't love Tim Cook, but Apple needs a new "One More Thing" moment.
