Like the "x" in Xi Jinping? 🤣How does one pronounce Xitter?

Oh it will go much further than just this, what he has done with Tesla and where that will go will likely lead to new laws around vaporware.Musk buying Twitter will be studied in business school for decades on how not to run a business.
Right, only 450 million+ MAU. But go on…Meh. No one cares about Twitter or Elon anymore. May as well shut it all down soon.
This pretty much sums it up. It's hard to imagine he could make it tank any further, it's going the way of MySpace at a record pace anyway.Who cares at this point, right?
This is clearly just a desperate grab for some publicity and some relevance.
Well its not exactly rocket scienceProof that building a brand is a lot harder than building a rocket.
Yup, just like Tesla and SpaceX, how not to create and run business. He’s the clueless one.Musk buying Twitter will be studied in business school for decades on how not to run a business.
That should give a few more people the opportunity to finally delete their profiles and move on.
What an utterly ridiculous idea. This really is one of those cases where “any publicity” is just bad..
Exactly! Heard Threads is doing really well! Lol.If people are using the site and finding value in it why would they care if it is called Twitter or X?
Just like the obnoxiousness of his overbearing fan club, the people that want to see Twitter burn just because they hate Elon Musk is more than just a bit tiring. We get it, you don't like the people he lets have a voice on Twitter. That's fine. We get it, you don't like his personal braggadocios demeanor. That's fine. Twitter had flaws before he foolishly overpaid for the site and it still has flaws now that he has. The idea to re-brand to X may end up being bad in the long run, or it might not. Nobody really knows now and the almost orgasmic falling over ourselves to point to something perceived to be bad as "aha, this is for sure the end of Twitter now" has long since gotten to eye roll territory.
If you don't like or want to use Twitter, that's fine. There are now plenty of other options out there.
He has primarily alienated his main customer base for Tesla. And it's easy to blow up federal money.Yup, just like Tesla and SpaceX, how not to create and run business. He’s the clueless one.
More likely he will be shown as someone that rose to heights then all falling apart suddenly.Musk buying Twitter will be studied in business school for decades on how not to run a business.
Someone said "X-creted" is the new terminology. Was: tweeted
Now: axed?![]()
In the case of Alphabet and Meta it made sense since they are the parent companies while Google is the Search Engine branch and Facebook the Social Media branch.
Quoting has gone nuts here.In the case of Alphabet and Meta it made sense since they are the parent companies while Google is the Search Engine branch and Facebook the Social Media branch.
You mean like he lost 50% of his primary source of revenue for Twitter, a.k.a. ad revenue. This will most likely lose him another 50%.You realize Twitter has been wildly successful since Musk took over, despite what the internet echo chamber has suggested, right?
Just like the “Netflix is going to go out of business” hysteria when they cracked down on password sharing, when in reality their subscriber counts skyrocketed.
Of course nobody gives him any credit for his help in the Ukraine…If people are using the site and finding value in it why would they care if it is called Twitter or X?

But they are not advertising as frequently. In fact, Apple cut ad spending on website formally known as Twitter, from what I hear from industrial chatter. (Despite what Elon said) Most of the ads I get are some random c#^@ and scammy stuff that doesn’t make any sense. Before Musk, I got ads from major companies, with Apple being frequent.Btw, Apple still advertises on Twitter. The two companies whose promoted tweets show up in my feed the most are Appe and On Running
Lack of strong content moderation. Apple already rejected Parler for same reason once. Also, Phil Schiller has strong disdain for Musk and that might be enough for Apple to reject the app. Apple makes the rules, Apple can do whatever they want. It’s their right to exercise first amendment with app rejection.Reject the app on what basis?
I don't like the way he lies about dangerous automation that can kill even people who aren't driving the Tesla. I don't like the way he treats his employees. I don't like the way he abuses federal subsidies like carbon credits. Most of all, I don't like the way people believe what he says. The rest of this is just expected behavior from someone like that.If people are using the site and finding value in it why would they care if it is called Twitter or X?
