1. Steve Jobs wasn't a scumbag?
2. Lots of articles that paint Elon as a "scumbag" left out plenty of details. I'm going to guess you've read about the thai cave incident but don't even know the other half of the story.

Compared to other billionaires like Zuck, Bezos, Steve Ballmer, and Mark Cuban, Elon is actually one of the better billionaires to exist.

1. As far as I’m aware, Steve Jobs never colluded with autocrats in order to destroy free society.

2. He’s worse than a scumbag, funny you bring up the cave incident because E and his family have ties to Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell.

Not even what I was pointing out though, I called him a scumbag because he has shown himself to be a horrible bigoted neo-Nazi coddling puke. It wouldn’t matter so much if he was just a nobody, but with his immense wealth, and takeover of Twitter it becomes a problem. He already intervened in the Turkish elections on behalf of their dictator. Think he won’t do the same here?

He has recently defended white supremacy and spreads extremist Nazi propaganda on Twitter now for everybody to see, along with intentionally boosting neo-Nazi’s. That should alarm anyone, and he keeps proving what I and others have been saying about him everyday. Do you think because someone has a lot of money they should be allowed to takeover one of the world's leading forms of communication and use it to topple democracies and strengthen dictatorships?

And your billionaire comparison is laughable at best, you didn’t even mention one of the truly bad ones like the remaining Koch or Mercer. You just mentioned some famous tech billionaires.

Here’s who E is and what he’s doing with Twitter.

Read through that, Enron is a neo-Nazi and an enemy of freedom, make sure you’re aware of who and what you’re supporting.

1. So has Elon. But if you think that's the only quality of meeting the definition of "scumbag", you are severely mistaken.
2. Ties to Epstein? LOL. Are you referring to that photobomb picture? That's all the evidence you have? Says a lot.

Sorry but responding to a tweet that appears in the feed does not mean they support all everything that person stands for. I recall RTing memes from an account that turned out to be a racist because someone else RT'ed that meme into my feed and I don't do my DD of reading everyone's feeds before RT because that would take ages just to do something so insignificant.

You're trying really hard to connect the dots to justify your anger against Elon, but in the end, it's just shows your bias rather than doing actual objective reasoning.

Going to be difficult for you in the future to use an EV considering all the competitors are going to rely on Tesla's supercharger network using Tesla's NACS connector FYI.

Have a good one 👋

Which is, what? Was Elon right to call the person a pedophile?

Oh, and how's Elon's solution to the incident doing? Has he started manufacturing the submarine?

Which is, what?
That Vernon wasn't even part of the official rescue team.
That Vernon was actually just there to score a hollywood deal to make a movie about the thai rescue mission as the court documents show.
That the official rescue team shunned Vernon out of the rescue mission because he was being a nuisance (for the hollywood deal).
That Vernon wanted the rescue team to, and I quote, "suffer" for leaving him out of the loop.
That the head of the official rescue team asked Elon to build the pod.
That Elon wanted to stop wasting SpaceX engineers time but the official rescue team begged Elon to continue development.

Glad you admitted you didn't know the other half of the story.

1. What do you mean “so has”?

2. You don’t know much about him if that photo of the two of them together is all you think there is. It’s odd how the same people that have flooded this forum to defend the actions of Reddit also are defending musk. I guess this is the new normal of the internet now that fanatical immoral billionaires have taken it over they are going after every corner of the web where they can’t control.

And the picture of Maxwell and Musk where they are both centered and fully in the pic is not a photobomb, you’re just taking a proven liars word as gospel. At an event like this, people don’t go around “photobombing” anyone. Here’s the full image

So Elon was just standing there by himself, and was posing for a pic, and Maxwell just jumped into the frame? Or is the truth that he was talking to a woman he knew from previous meetings? He’s been to Epsteins mansion in New York, he’s dined with him, so the most likely scenario is they knew each other and were talking before this photo was taken. Musk pals around with all sorts of horrible people, so it’s not hard to believe that he’d hang around with someone like Maxwell.

And you’re making excuses for his retweets, he’s been retweeting Nazi accounts and Nazi ideology since he bought Twitter. It’s no accident as his beliefs align with theirs. And yes, I and everyone I know checks out who someone is before retweeting them. And I and everyone I know are just regular people, I wouldn’t even know these racist and neo-Nazi accounts existed had musk not made them famous. And he’s famous, owns Twitter, and is the second richest person on Earth! There’s simply no excuse, to say he keeps retweeting and conversing with various racists and nazi’s is an “accident” is total horse poop. You are either mis-informed or purposely covering for him. It’s his defenders showing clear bias and not being objective.

Another example, this vile neo-Nazi was being boosted by Musk to the top of the worldwide trending topics for several days. You can make excuses all day long but this what everyone saw with their own eyes on Musks platform.

Couldn't care less. I deleted my account after Elon's purchase went through.
Fair enough and definitely your choice.

Choice: (if I understand correctly) you've chosen to avoid ANY service or product just because you dislike a person or what they stand for is in disagreement to your beliefs or stance.

Opinions vary: Not necessarily like the typical overlords over time but some have felt this way, their choice and fine.

Pontificate this: (in response to your choice mentioned above: which again is completely valid).

Have you ever owned, leased, or driven or rode into a VW? A Mercedes-Benz (of any kind on either)?
Anywhere for business travel, family/friends, even using Ride hailing services?
Does any of your closest friends or family members?

Just curious, as in reflection I don't agree with what either company in the past stood for - anyone can google what I'm referring to but the focus and purpose of my point is this. Judgement of the past doesn't guarantee certainty of repeat into the future - even for entity's and for the most part people. Both can change direction EVEN if its takes HARSH or forced reflection or direction of their current or (former choices/stances).

The key I'm making here is those have changed significantly even if it took 60yrs. Even both's design in some products I love. I also have to respect that one of them has made significant implementations and inventions that are refletive ALL cars today!

Mercedes-Benz ... created the steering wheel - one of their engineers that came to work for them after beating them in the earliest of races (Le-Mans or pre-Le Mans). It was more efficient than a lever.
- Windshield,
- sound proofing glass,
- chock to shift pedal (well that will soon be gone sure enough but its had a LONG ride)
- suspension advancements.

Many more we all take for granted but even prior to an error I disliked them they made significant POSITIVE changes that positively affected me in my youth and prior to me being born (any of us here actually) that had nothing to do with a previous stance/actions in a short time frame by comparison that I disliked.

What I'm saying is YES you have your choice and it's always valid.
People change and not all their endeavours are done or will end up in the view of what you may initially think to dislike them. (Sorry Companies too). Both make directional or vision changes in their existence, like choosing another path when presented with a fork in the road. Not many maybe a few more or less - it always varies. You still may be right.

What I'm saying if anything at all is ... give it a chance as a wait and see - your choice to see if something good can come from it - a simple purchase is harmful enough and the blue checkmark is not forced upon. Maybe I mis-read your short reply and your choice IS in fact a wait and see.

(PS: not specifically directed to you or anyone, yet it DOES include myself)
Cheers.
No. Don’t pretend you know other people.
Don’t tell others what they cannot do on public forums you don’t own not administer.

I’m sure im not the only one that perceived your minimal negative choice. Either way it’s opinion to make (your earlier post) and mine you to perceive.

Twitter appears to be adopting support for picture-in-picture mode on the iPhone and iPad, with some Twitter users reporting access to a feature that allows them to watch Twitter videos while doing other tasks on the iPhone and iPad.

Twitter-Feature.jpg

Starting a video in Twitter and then swiping out of the app leaves the video player open, so Twitter users can use other apps while continuing to watch video content from the social network.

Twitter has had an in-app picture-in-picture option previously, but the new feature allows Twitter video to be watched while using other apps, similar to how YouTube and other video content apps work on iPhones and iPads.

Not all Twitter users have access to the picture-in-picture feature as of yet, which suggests that Twitter is still in the process of rolling out support. Accessing the feature requires the latest version of the Twitter app on iPhone or iPad.

So I'm free to make up whatever I like about you? Or is this a one way thing, rules for you vs. everyone else?

Thanks, but I think I'd rather just not interact going forward.
