that's saying the same thing.I thought the point of verification was to prove a famous person, politician, journalist was who they say they are and not a stan account/imposter; not that what they said carried more weight.
"i verified my identity, so my words carry more consequences (vs anonymity)"
"i verified my identity, so you can trust these words are mine, and not of am imposter"
or look it the other way: why would people care to be verified, if it confers no benefit?
