I was lucky enough to get to use NinType as my primary keyboard from the time it was first released on Cydia all the way until now, as an official 3rd party keyboard for iOS 8, so I'd love to answer any questions anyone might have about how to use it!

100 wpm? Great, more word salad messages. I hope it has a non-idiot mode for those times when a person needs to communicate.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "word salad messages". Do you mean like the ridiculous strings of words that people get from mashing all the suggested words with the stock keyboard? If so, NinType fixes that by allowing you to decide what the top bar does by accessing the Top Bar Settings menu (by holding on the button on the top left of the keyboard, then sliding down to "topbar options").
There you can do things like the height of the top bar, what it displays (such as auto-complete suggestions or similar words, etc.) or even just get rid of the top bar completely.
As for "non-idiot" mode, NinType allows you to type by tapping individual letters just like any other keyboard. This is called "peck typing mode" and can be switched on and off by tapping the top right-most button on the keyboard.

I got a headache just watching that clip. Hope this doesn't bring on any seizures with all that animation.
You can turn those off, if you'd like! By holding down on the spacebar, you can access the themes menu to choose another preset (or turn off individual effects) or even turn on Zen Mode, which disables all animations in favor of saving battery life.

The themes are really sweet, just wish it let me save my own custom themes.
Unfortunately, Apple places a (pretty vague) memory limitation on 3rd party keyboards, so saving individual themes isn't viable yet as it would take up too much RAM for Apple to allow.
I also am having trouble figuring out how to remove the NIN logo on the spacebar, there is an option that says something like, I don't like the logo, but no matter what setting I choose, it's still there. Hm
Under the "Visuals and Appearance" section of the settings, at the very bottom, there's an option to turn the Nin logo on or off. However, turning it off simply replaces it with other messages (like "HOLD FOR MENU"), so as far as I know there's no way to get a completely blank spacebar....

Bought this app, defiantly not for me. Not accurate, looks like it was designed by a 5th grader with a anime obsession.
Of course it's not for everyone, but if the visuals and effects are your main gripe, you can easily turn them off by activation Zen Mode (or turn of individual effects from the Themes menu).

This is ridiculous, but I am unable to understand how you do a hash tag from the tutorial. Of course this means I can move on in the tutorial. I'm finding watching some of the finger movements on the tutorial had to follow. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
You can insert a # sign by swiping from the return key to the left, and then back to the return key in one fluid motion. The idea is that you're making a sort of "criss-cross" kind of pattern with your finger, similar to a # symbol.

Been typing in a notepad for last hour trying to get used to it. Autocorrect is useless. Basically you gotta get words right on your own. Dunno if the topbar is useful or not...i cant tell if I am typing faster than Swifykey. Sooooo many options it's intimidating. The few I changed I can't tell if it's even making a change. Less is sometimes more.
Concerning your autocorrect woes - would you happen to have autospace turned on? This isn't a particularly helpful feature unless you're typing with just one finger (like a normal Swype keyboard) and can often make typing accurately more difficult than it needs to be. However, though it includes an english dictionary of words, you'll probably find that you have to teach it quite a lot of new words by peck typing them once. I've found that by patiently adding words as I use them (when I notice that typing them normally isn't producing the result I want) I've been able to customize the dictionary to the point where it knows practically every word in my vocabulary and has no problem at all with autocorrect.
With NinType, less certainly is more. There's admittedly an enormous amout of customization options available, but the great thing is that you can just leave the majority of them alone, and still do great! Thankfully, there's a reset button for just about every set of settings, so if you do happen to mess something up while playing around with the settings, it's easy to reset them to default.
Another thing to consider is that you can turn the top bar off completely if it's bothering you (see above), or turn on the WPM counter from the spacebar menu if you'd like to see how quickly you're typing.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, I'd love to help! ^__^
