Yes. Just make sure you get there as soon as the store opens, maybe a little earlier. They will ask you if you’re trading in a device. Just bring the device you are trading in with you.
It’s not guaranteed that you will get the color/size/model you want or that you’ll even get one….but most stores have walk in stock available at store opening
What happened to Anchorage? I thought they went from ZZ to Incheon to Anchorage to Lousiville. I’ve been in this forum every year for years but what do I know, maybe I’m wrong. In any case, they‘ll all get to us on Sept 20 if that’s what we were promised, with almost no exceptions.

This is the first time ordering in 17 years that my tracking order number came up on the UPS website using the full order number rather than my cell phone number.
Nothing for my Hermes Watch or extra Hermes bands yet. However UPS mychoice does show another tracking number which I think is for my watch because it came up on the same day I got the Apple Cash. But it’s just a number nothing more.

my cell phone number never worked for me, maybe because i buy it outright full price, unlocked etc.
Had my Apple purchase secure and locked in for release day delivery and then on Saturday Apple cancelled my order without any chance to fix. I recently switched payment methods for my ATT bill (I was buying iPhone through Apple on my ATT plan) and apparently my new method wasn't setup for auto-pay, so my monthly payment didn't go through on Friday.
Fixed the problem, but of course, Apple's website now has my configuration of the iPhone 16 Pro Max out by almost a month from release day.
Had to bite the bullet and order from ATT directly -- I hope the process is as smooth -- they claim it should get here on Friday.

i'm in the same boat for our phone 10:45 and 11:15 (then i added a watch since I was planning on cancelling the one i had ordered to be shipped and that's not til 12:15! unfortunately i couldn't cancel the deliver one... but i'm probably not going to be here to sign for it anyways... since i'll be at apple! lol!). I plan to pick up all at 10:45 or even try for a little earlier)

Good point about the cables, I was going to wait until Friday and get them at the Apple Store but Amazon has the same Mophie cables I wanted for my car and for home and I can use my gift card credit instead. Ordered today, coming tomorrow!
Reference Number lookup:
I just looked at my UPS online account tracking and looked at the details.
Shows 6 different reference numbers attached to my tracking - I am sure some of them relate to pallet number and cargo flights but I see 2 ref # that are my order numbers - one is the complete order # and the other is less the last 2 digits.

yes.... it shows as pending..... it didn't do that on initial order... mine all showed up as pending yesterday.
For those who would like the full tracking number via the reference number and if you don’t have access to mychoice, you can call UPS international customer service and speak to a rep. When I called, I told them I had a reference number and would like to confirm the tracking number. I told them I had the last 4 digits of the tracking number. They asked for my first and last name, the address it is being shipped to and the company that is sending out the package (which would be apple). Last year, they were a mixed bag. Some said they can’t provide it due to security reasons and others provided it no problem. Here is their phone number… I can’t guarantee it will work first time but if it doesn’t, keep calling. 1-800-782-7892
