Preordered 2 Pro Maxes on launch day just when the Apple Store went up. Both originally got a September 20th delivery date, including in the order confirmation emails. Today however, I checked my orders in the app and while the first iPhone is on "preparing to ship" with a Sep 20th delivery date still, the second iPhone is still processing but now has a September 30th delivery date. I received no email update from Apple regarding a delivery estimate update.
This is the first time this has happened with a preorder. Attached the order confirmation email and a screenshot from the Apple Store app with the delivery date of the same order.

Wondering if this ever happened to anybody else... :rolleyes:

Did you get any new scans? I'm trying to figure out if these 1:35 AM 9/17 ZZ scans are from our group or not. I haven't gotten a new scan since the 9/15 6:30 PM ZZ one. I'm thinking these 1:35 9/17 scans might be Wave 1. I'm only gauging this by my scans last year and being is this same wave, I didn't receive another scan until later this afternoon (two days after the first scan, but a few hours later than these 1:35 scans). Not sure, though.

Maybe. I swear ever year I’m gonna save a screenshot of my tracking info but I never do. I think it was the 13 or 14 maybe last I noticed…but I’ve definitely seen them go straight to Alaska. I remember being surprised by it. They use to go through Hong Kong at one point as well. I’ve seen them come from shenzen as well.

and once upon a time they actually did clear customs in alaska because my (and a bunch of others) iPhone
were stalled in AK for a while awaiting proper import paperwork.....

they are wave 1

That confirms it, your scans are earlier than mine on 9/14 instead of 9/15, so the 1:35 AM Departure scan from ZZ 9/17 that everyone is getting now is definitely Wave 1. Wave 2ers, our scans probably will be a few hours later showing around 4:30 AM 9/17 or so based on my scans from last year. :)

it's hit or miss...... one year my... i think was my first (series 0) watch? was delivered on the very last day of the variable date.... one year hubby's phone delivered on the earliest date... but not earlier...

but then, i've seen some people get their couple of weeks out dates moved up

totally hit or miss

I shipped mine to work, so I only get the basic info searching by reference number gives me since I don’t have the tracking number and MyChoice won’t let me use a business address.

Not likely but this possibly could be our flight for wave 2 we’ll find out within an hour if we get scans or not

Oh, yes, I remember you said that now. Wave 2 hasn't had any new scans yet. :)
 
Some of you are getting more detailed scan and the only thing I get back is what I shown below. Is there something I’m doing wrong Or missing?
