Today I learned that there are bears in Florida lol
Oh yes, especially in forested areas. It’s so cool to watch their cubs grow up. One sow raised her cubs here for about 2 years, very late weaning them, a male and a female. I swear the male still comes around. We don‘t in any way treat them as pets, it would be dangerous for them to get the idea that all humans will be kind to them, but that sow really thought she was my bff, used to follow me around the property. I miss her and her cubs so much. We’ve had many other sows with cubs but she was our first, will always have a special place in my heart. This pic is of her with the female under her and the male facing away from the camera.

I bought an Iphone 16 on Friday, it still shows delivery for 09/20, 'preparing to ship' . No label created, nothing on mychoice from UPS, nada.....should I be worried? anybody on the same situation?

This is completely normal don’t worry you’ll likely start seeing some movement tomorrow

It’s been speculated by a few folks in this thread based on prior experiences that the regular 16 and 16 plus may already be stateside while the Pros are being shipped from China.

If Apple says you’re getting it on 9/20; it’s a pretty safe bet. They tend to under promise and over deliver.

Why would these be state wide? How can Apple calculate how many to ship? Where are they storing hundreds of thousands of phones? Who is paying all the shipping and storage?

I’m in the same boat; I’m not worried yet.

Keep in mind that this thread's middle name ***is*** Speculation. 😆

There’s more on it earlier in the thread, don’t recall it all, just pointing the OP in that direction in that it’s been brought up.

At the end of the day, for the millions of phones being delivered on launch day across the globe, it doesn’t make logistical sense that one or two cargo flights from ZZ over the course of 3-4 days could supply the vast quantities of iPhones Apple plans to deliver on the 20th. It’s not unreasonable to assume, especially in light that numerous people have not received tracking info despite being promised by a company with a reputation for being nearly flawless with being on time with their delivery estimates, that a certain quantity of non pro models or have been shipped by Apple in the last few weeks to somewhere in country to be joined by those coming from China and be distributed on launch day. UPS may already be, as part of a very lucrative distribution deal, be housing them at world hub. Maybe that’s right, maybe that’s not. But it’s not as far fetched as you make it seem.

Typically, there hasn’t been an issue with demand outstripping supply for the regular iPhones in prior years. The regular phones and Pluses (in the last 2 years) seem to be stateside before the launch, similar to Apple Watches, while the Pros and Pro Maxes come from China in the week leading up to launch day. I’ve preordered every iPhone since the original generation and take note of each iteration’s supply chain information.

Hello all. I've been off all day. How is everyone. Wave 2ers, we have movement, through Incheon. It's wild that Wave 1 totally skipped Incheon, but Wave 2 was there and left. Could have something to do with the Airline Carrier being used I guess.

I wouldn’t be worried, I think you will get your phone delivered when Apple says no matter if you can track it right now or not.

Yeah this happened last year with the 15 and 15 plus. They started from a warehouse in TN a couple days before delivery

Well, it's pretty quiet on here. I'm going to actually go to bed early. I was so tired all day today. I better see Anchorage scans in and out by the time I wake up. :) Fingers crossed.
