After digging around on UPS, I finally found an option to “authorize shipment release”. But it says the package isn’t eligible lol. Hopefully me or someone else will be home to sign for it.

Worst case scenario, I work 15 minutes away from home. Maybe I can sneak out for a bit, my boss is on vacation until next week and the office is dead lol.

Strange that UPS is not indicating that a signature is required. I’m sure that will probably change, though. Apple says that if a signature is required, it will be indicated on the UPS tracking page.
Signature usually isn't required.

The last time I got an iPhone delivered (12 Pro) I lived in an apartment that had a lockbox for deliveries.

I now live in a house. My question is: Will UPS require a hand signature at delivery or will they "Leave at Front Door" which are my driver instructions thru MyChoice ?

Still have ALL DAY to get customs scan.

Planes normally leave for their final UPS hub shipments later this afternoon or tonight - mine might be on a red-eye flight.
I worked at an airport UPS hub way back a long time ago and our sorting hours were 9pm - 3am. After this, the loaded trucks would head to the local delivery hubs to be loaded onto the local delivery truck.

I believe they will leave.

My memory could be off, but I don't ever remember signature being required for delivery.

Tomorrow early picking up .. my pick up time is 8 AM. Pretty sure it’ll be huge line.
If it’s anything like my Apple Store, they’ll only let 8:00-8:15 people up to the triage queue and they’ll shoo everyone else away toward a different area with not defined line

There's at least one person in this thread who has chosen "leave at front door" and the driver didn't deliver it.

It is for Apple products. It’s an Apple stipulation that’s outlined on Apple’s shipping & delivery page.
Maybe my memory stinks, but I don't ever remember my iPhone requiring a signature.

According to Apple's website, it says its required on some items and to refer to shipping email.

I use My Choice and track the driver on a map. I will be near the window when s/he is arriving and I also hear the truck. For other packages I am not this way. I have a door cam.

I do the same. My door will be open as soon as the driver starts walking up my driveway!

Last year I hired a SWAT team to surround the truck and escort the driver to my door. Upon my instructions, they then issued Kit Kats, Coke, and a non-disclosure agreement.
