North of Frisco. Our times are all over as well. Some days they are here at noon, other days it's 5pm. Makes for a loooong day of waiting and watching teardown videos for sure!
When I lived in Frisco, my driver was as consistent as the driven snow! We were across the street from UPS store on Preston and the always delivered to us right after their stop there

I suspect the Miami people are going to be on UPS2332 leaving in 5 hours. Either that or Envoy Air ENY3366 leaving in 6 or so hours. One of those flights. I doubt it’s a tomorrow redeye flight

And if you hear a loud beeping from his pocket, that will be his geekmeter going off. 😄
I think he already knew. We've had the same UPS driver for several years. When he delivered my iPhone 12 Pro, his comment was "I know you have been waiting for this." Hopefully it will be my regular driver, and not the temps we get from time-to-time.

Apple will not allow for any deviation to delivery unless you want your neighbor to sign for it.

$9.99 to change the date of delivery.

No other options exists this year - no UPS store, no UPS Access locations, etc...

My 16 PM was in wave 2 and I’ve gotten the shipping notification from Apple. My partner’s 16 still has no tracking with UPS and isn’t showing up as shipped my Apple, but does still have a delivery date of tomorrow. Hopefully everything gets worked out by then!

I'm curious for metro-Detroit people how our phones will get here. I don't see a scheduled flight SDF-DTW today or tomorrow. I know if often comes up by truck for regular shipments, but I thought UPS always flies them here for iPhone launches..
Flint area here, never seen them fly. I’ve watched flights every year to Michigan and never seen anything that could be it. Pretty sure they’re trucked here. And usually doesn’t leave Louisville until 11pm-12amish

My tracking yesterday showed it was shipping from Lebanon, Tennessee. It still shows that, but the current location now shows Louisville. So I'm assuming it's going Louisville --> Nashville --> My City --> Me!

The last time I got an iPhone delivered (12 Pro) I lived in an apartment that had a lockbox for deliveries.

I now live in a house. My question is: Will UPS require a hand signature at delivery or will they "Leave at Front Door" which are my driver instructions thru MyChoice ?
It’s at the driver’s discretion. One year when I was home for the delivery, I had the shipment release forms on my front door on iPad launch day in case I was in the restroom or whatever when the driver showed up. I watched the fedex driver get out with my package, see the signed release on my front door, put my package back in his truck, and come to my door with “delivery attempt” tags. I talked to him, and he said he wouldn’t leave it even with the signature posted on my door because there’s too much risk of theft. Since I was there to sign, he gave me the package.

Most of the other times, drivers have left the package, but they do have discretion even over your instructions.

I will be sick around the time of 9:30 to 10AM tomorrow. But I think I will recover after 10AM...I think.
My schedule's pretty full tomorrow anyway - it's my birthday, there's a works outing for lunch, my daughter has 1st grade school fun run and the usual College football Saturday game is actually tomorrow night instead so I'll be keeping a very close eye on where the UPS driver is via the app so I can be home at the right time...

I'm telling you, this is not the path you want to take. The hold will result in you getting your iPhone on Monday.....
LMAO someone has to do the 😭 emoji this year.

But I’m up early tomorrow anyway so I’ll just do an ISPU (it’s a 15 PM 512GB desert titanium) if nothing updates on UPS’ end.

Worst case scenario - I just return one. We’ll see. But tbh - I do regret not doing the Apple Store pick up.
