My phone has landed in Newark! I’m surprised, the UPS Customer Care center by me is closer to JFK. Even closer to LaGuardia, but I don’t think they ship to that airport.

ISPU movement! Got the "your trade-in is in the works" email from Apple.
For anyone curious, you get 14 days to trade-in your phone when you do it in store. That means you can take your new phone home and set everything up exactly how you want then bring your old phone back at your 14-day leisure!

Sounds right. I remember seeing packages that end up at my Aberdeen UPS passing through Hagerstown first.
I’m still waiting. My Apple Store is always late updating to ready for pickup

Same. It is my understanding standing that when you get that email the box is at the store and the sticker with your name has been placed on it. This is what generates the email to be sent.
We can all stand in solidarity and wait for our "Ready for Pickup" emails together! 
Mine have usually come from FedEx as well, but I don’t know what else this would be. No eta since UPS hasn’t received the package yet
Arriving 9/23...and just got a "we have your package" scan a few minutes ago in Louisville. I've always gotten them via FedEx in the past as well, but I can't think of anything else coming that would only be a third of a pound.
My phone has arrived at the stop before it reaches me. Might live next to my door tomorrow. Ain’t no way I’m missing this delivery.
I have two phones and a watch for ISPU tomorrow morning. One of the phones is for my mom and we did the upgrade through AT&T. I got the email that her phone is ready to be picked up and I got an email and tracking number for the trade in box to send the trade to AT&T. The other phone and watch still show processing so now I’m just waiting to get the Ready for Pickup emails for them.
I go run some errands this afternoon and come back to check in with UPS to see it’s already at my local air hub!
Looks like southern New England area phones are going through CT. I’m in south mass, and my sister in Rhode Island both our phones just landed in Windsor Locks
The trade-in email and my ready for pick up were only 30 mins apart! You're nearly there!!
