Ahh I think I get it now.

The shipment from Carlisle has the watch and the AirPods.

They were ordered on 3 separate orders (with the phone) so I assumed 3 shipments

The other orders must be for the return kits

I'm in the same boat.

2 phones for DFW-area are currently in San Antonio as well.

There is a UPS flight from SAT-DFW that I'm hoping to see a departure scan shortly if we indeed made that flight too.

I called UPS, and they said that they’ll still arrive at my address tomorrow. 😊

Update on the Apple request for UPS hold

Got an email denying it.
Your shipment … will be delivered to the shipping address on the order. If you still want to return it, you can refuse the delivery and it will be returned to Apple.

Meh. I’ll just try my luck in stores. I’m sure I’ll get it and I’m out and about tomorrow anyway.

So, interestingly enough last year my 15 Pro max went from Louisville to Vegas and from Vegas to my house so I assumed my phone would be heading to Vegas again this year, but my UPS says it arrived in Billings, Montana. I’m assuming it’ll go Billings-Salt lake-my house. But that’d be interesting because my house is closer to Vegas than Salt Lake, but there are no outbound UPS flights from Billings to Vegas.
Sorry for the long winded message, but pretty sure this’ll be my flight, if anyone just so happens to take the same route as me, but I highly doubt it 😂

Hey, depending upon what iPhone you are moving from, and to, you can use a fast cable to transfer between phones. I'll be going from iPhone 15 Pro Max to 16 Pro Max, I'm thinking I'll go with a ThunderBolt 4 USB-C cable on this Pro phones to see what kind of speeds I can get. That's going to be a fun experiment!

I do intend to add an encrypted backup from 15PM to my MBP into my preparations.
Thanks. The cable route sounds good, but I’m moving from 14PM to 16PM so don’t want to buy anything adaptor wise. Will probably just use the transfer feature, the WiFi one. Fingers crossed haha

My phone is in Manchester NH and the watch/airpods are on their way from PA to NH. Not sure if that’s coming by plane or truck though

mine is now leaving Kentucky. So I'll be making my 20 mile round trip to my old work location to pick it up. Next time I'll verify my shipping address is correct :)

I am guessing mine is being trucked here. From Lafayette it will probably go to Rockford, Chicago or Milwaukee (Oak Creek) and then on to Madison. Currently have the 13Pro so it’s been a few years without the tracking/waiting game. Tried lurking once but just isn’t the same.

I am thinking about using a Lightning to USB-C cable.

I have 5-5:15 pickup tomorrow at the Apple Store. If I show up at 8am what are the odds that I can get my phone? My plans changed for tomorrow and I can’t go in the evening.
In the past, they have been known to turn people away for showing up before their time slot, but all you can do is try.

Anybody on IUP have tracking info from FedEx for their trade in kit yet? If so, did it give you an ETA?
I'm pretty sure the tracking that showed up in UPS MyChoice today from CTDI KBB Jeffersonville, IN is my trade in kit. it's 0.30 lbs, which is about what an empty box would weigh.

Lightning port only supports USB 2.0 speeds which is 480 mbps. Wifi will be faster. Also only the Pro models currently have USB 3.2 support on 15/16 so that would definitely be faster at 10 gbps. All other USB C models only support the slower 2.0 speeds.
