I have to admit I'm having second thoughts about switching from the pro to the non-pro because of the refresh rate. Even iJustine said she couldn't do it despite the enticing new colors. I have the 15pm in natty that I'm perfectly happy with until 16pm stock is replenished, but.....that PINK! Why does Apple do this to us?!

You probably use 60hz panels all day elsewhere without an issue. You'll be fine, don't worry.

Well this is interesting. My 16 P and 16 took different paths to get to my local hub and presumably are loaded on the same truck since the out for delivery times are identical. However one has an estimated delivery 1.5 hours later than the other? Does the driver plan on taking a nap on my couch?

Definitely do eSIM setup while you have your current phone with you next to your new one at the store. I traded in my phone and left the store with the new one still in its box unopened since I had to get home to work. Got home and tried to activate the eSIM and transfer my original number, had to contact T-Mobile and have them step in to authenticate me, send pins to family members on my plan that were busy and couldn't answer right away, etc.

Finally got it transferred over and all setup, but was a headache I could've avoided if I just transferred the number with the old iPhone nearby

Best thing about Fi - Google account based 2FA. Don't need to worry about being able to get SMS because it'll ping my iPad and email.

Even though my latest UPS status shows only “Processing”, I now see a GPS map showing the truck about a mile from my house. I think either they missed the “out for delivery” scan, or it’s just delayed.
I really hope this is the case for me... AirPods, Watch, iPhone in that order

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the local Apple Store so dead on a launch day. Obviously they will be steady throughout the day, but it is noticeabley tame this year
